Can someone recount what happened at the end? Shaw and its infinite wisdom cut off most the last 5 minutes of the show. Highlight below:
I saw Claire tazering a guy and then seeing her dad, and a blank screen until I see the plane nose diving to the ground.

I enjoyed the episode as well. Good star to the season.
Only character that really bugged me was Claire. First, please wear less makeup. You look better without it. Second, if you're going to eavesdrop on someone's phone conversation, don't use a phone where all they have to do to see you is turn around. Third, since when does she have super strength and speed? That kicking the driver in the head and running to catch up to the plane bit was a touch unbelievable, even for a show about superheroes.
I like where the story is going though; dark and ominous with a touch of mystery. And government conspiracies are always entertaining.

Answer also in white.
Peter absorbed Nicki's cold power but touched the wall of the plane afterwards when fighting with the guards which caused a big rupture and started sucking out everything that wasn't tied down out of the plane, including Peter. Peter held on to some netting which gave way, but then Mohinder grabbed his hand. The show ended with a close up of Peter and Mohinder's hands with the grip slowly loosening. I don't get the big deal about that though, Peter can fly, right?

Ha, the part that bugged me the most was the whole plan scene. Was ridiculous from start to end.

Highlight below:
Peter absorbs Tracy's freezing power. Seems that when he absorb it, he lost Mohinder's power. Thug knocks down Peter, Peter accidentally touched the wall of the plane. Wall gets frozen, and under pressure, the wall breaks. Thugs get sucked out, one masked hero still strapped to his/her seat gets sucked out.
Peter hangs be cargo net as things and people get sucked out of big hole. Pilot, Noah, and Clarie are in cockpit watching the ground come closer. Pilot radios a May Day distress call....losing cabin pressure, losing altitude.
Slow-mo: Hooks on Peter's cargo net start to break, while crap is still fling out. One hook left and is about to snap. all of the sudden, Mohinder grabs Peter's hand. Yet, Peter is slipping, about to be sucked out. Wrists, sip to hands....to finger tips
BLACK...to be continued
Edit: someone beat me to it.

Their plane was coming in pretty hard. I'm sure they'll be fine rather than the likely disintegration into a million peices that would occur in the real world.

Exactly. Plus, he flew at the end of the last episode.
But yeah, he can fly, but that plane was going fast. Its like saying I can run so I should be able to jump out of a speeding car and continue running. It's not that simple

SHe was able to catch the plane because it was just starting to taxi out so it was going pretty slow, when she climbed in it was standing still waiting to take off.
Other then that it was a pretty good show, it layed the ground work for the season and it should be interesting to see Nathan become his dad, just on a larger level.
Syler was awesome as well when they shot him and he takes them all out. I like a challenge.

I may be way off here but it seems like his power is different than before. At first he gained powers just by being in proximity with other heroes so he should have absorbed all the others powers on the plane right away but now it seems he needs physical contact like his father did and he seems to only have one power at a time. While he was fighting the guards he accidentally touched Nikki and took her freeze power, then he started to lose the fight with the guard even though he had just gotten super strength a few minutes earlier. So he may not be able to fly anymore.

Remember, Peter had his power taken away. Then re-acquired them, though he seems to be glitchy. Contact with Nathan gave him flight.
Last night Nathan asked what peter can do. Peter replied "what did you last see me do?"
Then, in the plane, he absorbed Mohinder's super human strength. He kicked ass, throwing people and knocking them out. When he get got knocked down, he fell into Tracy and absorbed the freezing power.
Noticed that he tried to hit the guard (with Mohinder's power), but hurt his hand. No super human strength. He falls and touches the wall and it freezes. Seems to me that he can only absorb one power at a time...until he can figure out how to retain other powers. This kinda explains why he could not just fly or pull himself up with strength.
Back in season one, Peter had trouble controlling and accessing powers he absorbed. He is re-learning.
Seriously...I have no life.

I gave up on this show midway through the last season.... think I'll stay away, but if it ends up picking up again I'll get the DVDs.
