So, just out of curiosity, who are some famous or well known people you've met and talked to?

For me- Jarome Iginla

Lanny McDonald

(I imagine a lot on here will have Flames players lol)

George Strombolopolus
William Gibson
Kevin Brauch (from the Thirsty Traveller and Iron Chef America)

Really that's all for me. No big celebs lol. But I was pretty happy meeting them.

Bill Daly, Trevor Linden, Jarome Iginla, Mitch Berger(if he didn't have a new super bowl ring, he wouldn't make the list), Brendan Morrison, Barry Pepper(actor from Saving Private Ryan, Enemy of the State), Marcel Dionne, Joe Kapp, Dave Dickenson, Dave Nonis....more that I can't think of right now...

Excluding hockey players and local celebrities (ex. Gord Gilies) since I've met a ton of them, I met the black girl on MuchMusic as well as the gay looking guy. I've met Kuerton at the Roadhouse, I shook hands with Jay Leno. I walked by Shannon Elizabeth. I think that's it.

Maurice Richard, Guy Lafleur, Steve Shutt, Ken Dryden, Gretzky, Kurri, Messier, Fuhr, Huddy, McLellan, Lowe, Coffey, Semenko... (the entire 85 Oiler roster) Risebrough, Peplinski, Mike Keane, Kirk Muller, Lyle Odelein, Donald Brashear, Vincent Damphousse, Oleg Petrov, Stephane Lebeau, Dick Irvin and Chris Phillips.

Natasha Henstridge was a good friend of my sister's in Fort McMurray.

Pretty much the entire 2004 Men's World Cup of Hockey roster except Lemieux and Gretzky snuck out the back of the arena... have an autographed Team Canada hat for memories...

Other hockey guys: Guy Lafleur, Pat Burns, Lanny, Cliff Fletcher recently, Kelly Hrudey, PJ Stock, Michael Landsberg, Dan Cloutier lived in my building in Vancouver...

Gordon Ramsay, Jamie Oliver, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Stephanie Ly (if she counts), Tila Nguyen (if she counts), Snoop Dogg (actually partied with him after the Up in Smoke tour in Vancouver), Kristin Kreuk...

dude, she was 14 when she left the Fort and I was 18. So sadly, no. And she most definitely had a crush on me.

LOL! That is to name a few off the top of my head. I saw Lanny in LA when I watched a practice. Well, I saw all the Flames.

They are all famous. Sort of!

On my way to Cali in 2004, went through the same gate at the airport as the Flames on their way to Tampa bay for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals

Talked or shook hands with most of them...had a 5 minute convo with Darryl Sutter

Oh, and I met Gizmo williams at a bar a loooong time ago. He was about 5 feet of drunken midget, trying to get me to buy him a drink because he was "famous".

Well I was fortunate enough to win a trip to the MMVA's a while back so I was able to meet quite a few "stars" while I was there. In attendance at the MMVA's (and those that I talked to) included:

- Avril Lavine
- Nickleback
- Vince Carter
- Iginla & Cassie Campbell
- Nelly Fertado
- Donovan Bailey
- The fat guy from Breaker High (don't remember his name).
- Walked right by Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock but didn't talk to them.
- Swollen Members
- Sean Paul
- Sam Roberts
- Pretty much all the VJ's at the time

There are probably a lot of others that I can't remember right now. Mind you, I was pretty loaded from all the free drinks so I probably don't remember everyone that I actually talked to. I do remember talking to Iginla and his finance (now wife) for about a half hour. It was right after he won the scoring title so it was pretty cool.

I also remember somehow talking our way into the "VIP" afterparty.....great night.
