Default GDT: QC Flames @ San Antonio Rampage - 1/30/09

QC will finish up their season long, 9-game road trip with a game in San Antonio tonight. They are coming off the largest victory of the season with a 5-0 win over Houston. Kevin Lalande earned his first AHL shutout in what was his first start for the Flames this year. The top line was rolling last night with Chucko scoring 2 goals, and Lundmark and Greentree both chipping in 1 each.

QC falls in a score of 4-2. they carried play in the first taking a 1-0 lead on 25 first period shots. teams traded goals in the second, but the flames were unable to hold the lead in the third.

statistically, looks like they had a very solid 1st period, outshooting SA 25 to 7. Also, Chucko had 9 shots on goal plus a fight

attendance was ~8500; impressive QC; was there a promo?

edit. oops, it was in SA; figures; so the 8th place Rampage with a 13-16 home record can get 8500 fans to their games

Wow - Al Montoya has sure come down from grace. He was supposed to a star goalie in the NHL and look at his stats now. 2W and 12L, 0.864SP - brutal
