^^ No. I wish that it would cache pages for a little longer. It is pretty annoying.

Does anyone else's screen have a very faint flicker to it, when the brightness is either on the lowest possible setting, or at least very close to the lowest?
Edit- Hmm, looking now, it seems to only flicker when I have it plugged into the laptop...

My touch used to do that at the lowest setting while charging.

Looks like it came out yesterday:

Nothing overwhelming....Safari stability and a photo bug fix. But it is an update nonetheless. Hopefully, a MMS feature or cut/paste feature down the road.

Do anyone know if A2DP functionality could be added via firmware update or is it a hardware restriction with the iPhone 3G?

I am 99% sure it can. Whether they will enable it or not is another question. You can get an adapter though.

What's a firmware update?
Hey, when I go to check email or go to Safari at home or at my office where I have wi-fi, unless I wait it goes to Edge first. When it goes to Edge first does it automatically flip over to my wi-fi once it connects? It doesn't stay on Edge so I figure it must flip automatically over to my wi-fi. Is this correct?

Firmware is the software that makes the iPhone run. You update it in iTunes.
Yes.

Does the update happen automatically when I sync with iTunes or do I have to do something?

For me though, it said all things were updated. Then I clicked on the update button, and it prompted me to download the update. Stupid me, I did it about 20 minutes before I had to leave the house, and it wasn't a quick update.

I went to iTunes to sync and my iPhone crashed. I did a restore but all of my music is now gone. Is there any way for me to get it back without having to download it all again? Once the music is restored, is there any way to prevent this from happening again? It's bloody annoying because I had hundreds of songs stored. Please help.

Unless you purchased all that music directly from the iTunes store ON your iPhone and this was the first time you'd ever synced the phone, all that music should still be on the machine you downloaded it to. You just have to sync your phone.
If it keeps happening I'd just take your phone in to the apple store. The only time my phone has ever crashed during sync was when I'd jailbroken it, upgraded the firmware, jailbroken it again, then was trying to update again (read: I deserved it).

I'd like to add to that first paragraph that if you buy songs off your phone directly, it's important to plug your phone into your computer when you get home, right click on your phone in itunes and select "transfer purchases". That way if your phone crashes and you lose your music for whatever reason you still have the purchased material on your computer.

My songs weren't purchased off of iTunes, but somewhere else. Maybe that's why they weren't backed up on iTunes. What's a good way for me to back up hundreds of songs from my iPhone for an easy reinstall? Put then onto CD?

Ya cd would be a good way to go. I have an external hard drive that exists for no reason other than to be a backup device. I plug it in once a month and update everything, then store it in my closet until the following month. I'm somewhat paranoid about lightning blowing out all my electronics.

At least it would give you the opportunity to leave a review that isn't ######ed (unlike the one that is there now).
