ah... I can't help myself...
Our current line-up consists of:
Anastasia Romanov - Jimmy Hoffa - Amelia Earhart
Hart Crane - Glenn Miller
Michael Jackson's face.
Hoffa and Crane are off the books at the end of the year. If Chris Lindberg remains missing, perhaps he is the #1 centre we have all been looking for to field our all-star celebrity disappearance team? And we all know Sutter likes to develop talent from within. Perhaps next year our line-up looks like this, keeping us under the cap and opening the possibility of bringing in a veteran goaltender to back-up Michael Jackson's long gone face (which is still on the books through to 2015):
Romanov - Chris Lindberg - Earhart
The Lindbergh Baby - Miller
M.J.'s face
Ambrose Bierce.
Thoughts?

Somewhere, chris lindberg is lurking. He is checking what is being said about him and has already been said about him...making a list like Steve Buschemi in "Billy Madison", where he writes down the names of everyone of who ever did him wrong and then plots to kill the....

I'd take the cap hit and buyout MJ's long lost face. It hurts for one year, but then you don't have such a disruptive influence in the mirror...I mean, dressing room, any more

This Forum is not the same without you. Your presence is greatly missed. Not more than 3 months ago i registered as an official member of Calgarypuck so that i could partake in conversation with you "the legend." For you to just get up and leave really hurts me. Im lost without your lineups it has been to long and we are so close to the trading deadline i need to know whose coming to calgary! so please Chris on behalf of all CP members... Come back home!

Weird that he left when he did. He was getting ripped on a lot for about 5 or 6 months there, but then people started to appreciate Chris. His posts became the stuff of legend and his fairly frequent line up posts were thanked instead of told the usual "save your lineups for junior high loser" kind of stuff.
Strange part is that Lindberg has been a member since 04 and I only started to notice him about 6 months ago when the line up posting and subsequent ridicule got really bad. Then around the time of the post a pic of yourself thread he started to get a friendly ribbing, but was quickly becoming well liked.
