oh god, those videos make me violently ill. can't stand any mainland productions. Chinese + rap is bad enough as it is...but the whole celebrity things and everything....

Or maybe I just can't understand manderin.

Agreed, it's a terrible show every year. A big lovefest!
But I did like a couple of performances.

Did you figure out the magic tricks yet!?

WAIT WAIT WAIT. Your wife wouldn't let you go? Isn't is supposed to be the other way around?

haha. she hates him. She can't understand his 'muttering'. She didn't like the fact i was going to leave her alone with 7 month old for 3 days and that the tickets were $285.

Ah, I would have gone with you.
But that's really steep for tickets.
I don't really like his muttering either. He's alright but not suitable for a new years show.

that guy's face and hair were annoying me so much that I could only stomach watching through the first trick, I'll analyse the 2nd trick later. The first one with the elastic bands is super easy. When he stretches them to show they are stuck, he's just popping the loops onto his other fingers in a quick switch when his fingertips move close together. It's like the trick where you have a loop of string and you put it around your neck and then move the whole string through your neck like you are cutting off your own head but you actually just moved the loop to your other thumb.

The elastic trick doesn't count (too easy). He does 2 main tricks.
One with a coin and one with eggs/wedding ring.

And I kinda like his hair!

As an asian male who cuts his own hair, I must say that it's a little too dandy for me but I generally don't like those wierd super asian (or fobby) hairstyles with the huge bangs and superlong fake sideburns (as us asians cannot actually grow real sideburns).

When you say, "real sideburns" do you mean the ones that attach to your beard?

No, we cannot even grow real beards.

Fake sideburns are just growing your hair long from above in front of your ear instead of from the side of your face.
