...it is CPHL day! Things that will happen are...

- Change the cap from 63M to 61M
- Delete all of the 2004-2005 cap transactions (including the Cheese limit counters)
- Add the 2005-2006 cap trans.. (including the Cheese counters...ie 12M up/down)
- Add Sponsorship money
- Add Playoff Bonus Money
- Players ages go up one year
- Player Contracts go down one year
- Cheese rule will change to 12 million in Net terms...not Gross. In other words if you trade 4 million and receive 4 million you will still be at zero....not negative 4 million.

THANK HEAVENS!!! Thanks for that change! It was a thorn in my side last trade deadline... then again, I'm no good with the math!

I'll say this again so there is no whining -- July 1st is a long weekend and I will be out of town and all JTIR players with contracts that are supposed to go in that day will not go in that day. They will go in over the following week.

Cheese, just a question since I can't recall how RFA's were handled in the past. How do unsigned RFAs show on the roster page? Now that we have agents, can there be a special section for players holding out? Perhaps where they don't count against/for roster numbers or cap?

Differences between a holdout and an RFA.

Holdout is a player you cannot reach a deal with under any circumstance...you or the agent can hold him out.

An RFA is a player that is still being negotiated with and will remain on roster and on Cap.

I'm sitting on a ton of contracts for July 1st, and I'm away at a ball tourney for the whole long weekend, so please be patient with me

Curious, when can we apply for new sponsorships?
