Gymnasts are overrated. They're either like prepubescent girls or they are prepubescent girls.

Gawd, I just saw that Idomo furniture one again in the 2nd intermission, it's so bad, having the owner or whatever doing the commercials. And he talks like he's a leader of a cult. Like that Heaven's gate guy.

The new tim hortons one, with the guy explaining cost savings to the room. The commercial itself isn't too brutal, but when the two chicks at the back of the room high five eachother, there's no high five sound, then about a second later after the camera leaves them, you hear the high five sound. It just bothers me for some reason.

Are any former/current Winnipegers watching that reminded of the Kern-Hill furniture guy? That guy was just as bad. "COME ON DOWN!!"

Any commercial where the guy is made to look like a tool, in a reversal of man/woman stereotypes.
The two that come to mind are the Rogers HD one, where the guy gets out his drill and the wife is done already and then she patronizes him by saying how useful he is. The other is the power tool one where the wife is nailing baseboard, while he sits there explaining why it is such a great tool, only to have her come and take it from him.
For some reason commercials that make men look like idiots is ok, but if women were made to look like morons the commercial would get pulled.

What bugs me the most about that one is she is putting on the baseboard with a huge fricken gap in the corner- as if the mitre cuts weren't done quite right. All the while she has that smug contented look on her face.

I'm getting reeeeal sick of that damn panago commercial with the whistling christmas song. It's been stuck in my head for days. I'd like to say that I'm going to boycott Panago, but I never buy their crap pizza anyway.

The whistling jingle for Canadian Tire. I hate it. I can't believe I am going to say this, but, I would prefer it if they just brought back that ######bag with the glasses and beard they used to have who would smugly introduce whatever new tool he 'found' at Canadian Tire. At least I could focus my rage on his face, rather than just being filled with abstract anger that isn't directed at anyone in particular thanks to that whistling.
Whistling really is too commonly employed in the commercial world, and it is probably about the most annoying device imaginable.

i'm also starting to get pretty tired of the anti smoking commercials. cigarettes were raised to $12, ppl still bought them. showing us commercials of ppl dancing on rotting teeth isn't giong to suddenly change my mind! just like the ridiculous pictures and slogans on the smoke packs aren't giong to change my mind!
although, i have to say the one where the older lady lifts up her dress and shows off her gannies is pretty damn funny, but, still. the intent behind it is f'ing ######ed.

I totally miss that guy, he was the best! I loved every time they came out with a new commercial with him. They were just so ridiculous that it was hilarious, I'm still disappointed they pulled him.
A few years back I bought the Canadian Tire Christmas lights and was waiting for my neighbour to start putting up his so I could do mine at the same time and smugly tell him how much better mine were and could compare afterwards. How disappointed I was to discover he did it in the middle of the day when I was at work. BRING BACK TURTLENECK!!!

I can't stand the Royal Bank Olympic torch relay contest commercial. The fact that:
- A woman gets off a boat, passes the torch to a child
- They runs past nothing but empty shore until Toronto pops up
- Child passes the torch to a man and they all run past emptiness until a mountain and cabin pop up
- An individual plugs in a solar panel, receives the torch, and the group runs past nothing other than a few more mountains until Vancouver pops up
- A child receives the torch and lights the flame
I can understand that it may have cost a little more, but it would be nice if they could have put something else in the commercial other than simply Toronto, some mountains and a cabin, and Vancouver. It almost seems as if they are saying that there is noting in Canada other than shore, Toronto, some mountains with a single cabin, and Vancouver, with the rest of the expanse of the country simply being empty land.

The thing that pissed me off is that the song is annoying.
