Default UFO at Barack's inaguration?

http://www.gilmermirror.com/pages/fu..._column&open=&

Link to story - partially posted below, with permission.

There is a piece of really interesting video that was shown live on CNN the day of the inauguration. As Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper are outside at a table, discussing the activities, what appears to be a large, cigar shaped silver object darts across the screen in the background, at what appears to be a speed much faster than aircraft. The Washington Monument is seen in the distance, and the object appears behind it and is quickly out of the picture.

The internet is abuzz with the story, although mainstream media has failed to address it, thus far. Perhaps they will. Today's corporate media seldom perform the function we once expected of major media. Now, they're mainly cheerleaders talking incessantly about stories that once were seen mainly on entertainment shows.

If you wish to see screen shots made of the object, they can be found at this internet site: http://news1800.com/2009/01/most-pop...-inauguration/.

The video can also be seen at CNN, provided it remains up. Earlier, it was taken down for a while: http://edition.cnn.com/video/#/video...ef=videosearch

Wow, if that is unedited video, that is some impressive footage. By far the most compelling UFO footage I've ever seen.

Of course it's a UFO....an unidentified flying object! Doesn't mean it's from another planet however.

Pretty nutty though!

To be fair no one said it was. (Cept for my obviously sarcastic joke.)

"It goes in front of the.... in fron o'the... obalisk"

But really -- the object goes in-front of everything and looks rather transparent. Isn't there a camera phenomenon that can create this effect?

The path it takes is rather disconcerting though.

Honestly, it looks like a bug that flies close to the lens. It's path and the perspective makes it a bit of an optical illusion.

EDIT: when I first saw it I thought it was a bird as well. I can see it pass in front of the monument, but I don't see it pass BEHIND the trees, it just kinda blurs out there.

The pics from the frames could easily be doctored.

That's pretty much what I thought as well....sort of like when the earth is being attacked by ginormous jumbo spiders on tv.

Weird. I agree that it doesn't look at all like it's going off into the distance much, something that goes from close to far looks like it's coming down because of the angles.

You can hear a kind of clicky twang in the video too right before you hear it too lol.

With the # of cameras around on that day there must be other shots of it.

No reaction from the people despite it being a few hundred feet off the ground and moving hundreds of km an hour at least.

All of this assuming it was large and moving fast I mean, some kind of bug close to the camera would make more sense.

Haha, well the closer it was to the lens, the slower it was going, it just appears to be going fast.

A bug could cover the distance of a lens that fast easily. Same with a bird just past the camera.

Exactly, if it was in the sky (higher than a bird) or of interest many people on the ground would have noticed it.

There were close to 2 million people there. I think if there was a UFO, we would have thousands of pictures and videos to look at.
