Yours truly was voted 2008 DWF Wedding Photographer of the Year!
Hey guys. Not too many people check my wedding photography thread in the power ring, so I had to share this crazy news with everyone!
I was honored this past week in Phoenix with the title Digital Wedding Photographer of the Year. I beat 219 international professional wedding photographers to take the title and was voted by a large international community of my peers. This is my first award/distinction, so I am very proud of this accomplishment. There is some serious, serious talent on DWF (many of the world's top photographers), so this win is a great honor. Here's the link and the best wedding day image of 2008

How did you ever get an award with blurry photos like that? Low standards?

congrats.... See now i can tell my wife "i told you so" when i get home tonight.. I knew we should have used the power of CP instead of that bum we ended up using for our wedding in July. Preserving memories was the company we used, Silver is the photographer... My advice is to steer clear as not only was he rude to my guests and not overly impressive in his work but he also lost 400 pictures and told us tough luck...... sorry for my rant but congrats anyway

Can I recommend this camera to you next time? it has .3 megapixels. i heard a lot of wedding photographers use these. Plus it has 16 megabytes of internal memory! you could almost have 100 pictures! hehe

Of course you weren't at the mall with that wedding party. You were just perving looking for "downblouses".
