Add Fat Free Ranch dressing with some Frank's hot sauce. A general helping of fresh cracked pepper. Spread on two slices of sour dough bread and add slices of cheese. Bake in oven until melted. Eat and enjoy.

Good advice. Hold it in your armpits during the "mack". That way they get to enjoy the aroma as well. Then, at the end of the night you have a nice, warm, sandwich.

I recently discovered ground cinnamon adds a nice touch.

Mayo, green onion, cilantro, yellow curry powder, walnuts or almonds, salt & pepper to taste. This is better for chicken salad, but is a good change for tuna also.

In a bowl mix tuna, ranch, cut up pickles and celery.
Toast bread, not too much, just enough so that the bread is warm and slightly crunchy.
Slap on the tuna mixture. Put some lettuce on top if you're feeling extra healthy.
Eat.
Let everyone around you enjoy your tuna breath.

If you have it in a sandwich or on crackers you can also melt some cheese over it, nice little tuna melt.
If you can get a nice soft croissant, mmmmm magic!

I'm in the Miracle Whip over mayo group as well. I'm pretty boring when it comes to tuna though, tuna and Miracle Whip, and that's it. Sometimes I'll put the tuna mixture on one slice of bread (or an English muffin) and add some shredded cheddar cheese to the top and grill it in the oven until the cheese melts.

Tuna, miracle whip, relish, some lime Franks Red Hot Sauce. Mix it all up and put it on a piece of bread. Put some cheddar cheese on top of it and toast it all up nice and tasty like.

I'm surprised how many people are recommending Franks Red Hot. I'll have to try that with my next tuna sandwich for sure.

This thread convinced me to make a tuna sandwich for dinner. I slightly modified my usual. Sundried tomato pita, tuna, ranch, celery and dill pickle relish since I had no pickles. Deeelish!

Do people here mash the tuna down into a near paste-like consistency, or do they leave the it chunkier? (the canned fish equivalent of debating chunky vs. smooth peanut butter, or eating peas individually vs. scooping corn niblets)

I leave it somewhat chunky. Also, tuna in can has to be solid white in water...everything else is catfood.

Here's two very simple, very delicious ways...
can of tuna
mayo
hoisin sauce
sambal (both of these can be found in the asian section in the supermarket, and use a little because it's quite spicy)
wasabi (can be used instead of the sambal)
soy sauce (about a cap full)
lemon juice (about a teaspoon)
green onions
parsley (chopped...and optional)
can of tuna
mascarpone cheese
avocado (for a small can use a quarter piece)
olive oil (about a teaspoon)
lemon juice (1 teaspoon)
salt and pepper
italian parsley or cilantro
