hopefully I don't screw over prototype by picking who he wants.
I'll pick Francois X. Boucher
he should be could the most sportsmanlike player ever!
7 lady byngs in 8 years (they actually gave him the original trophy to keep and the byng family donated a new one).
he retired in 37/38, and coach the rangers to a stanley cup in 41. In 43/44 he came out of retirement for 15 games and got 14 points.
"During the 1945–46 season, Boucher became the first coach to use two goalies regularly" wiki

?th Pick, 108th Overall
Left-Wing Bob Gainey
Yeah yeah yeah, he was the first (and last) person to lift the Stanley Cup in the Saddledome.
1977-78 NHL Frank J. Selke Trophy
1978-79 NHL Frank J. Selke Trophy
1978-79 NHL Conn Smythe Trophy
1979-80 NHL Frank J. Selke Trophy
1980-81 NHL Frank J. Selke Trophy
He also won the Stanley Cup 5 times and is the best defensive forward of them all. And he went into the Hall of Fame with Lanny.

I think Boucher was exclusively a center. I never saw him listed as anything else, but Tiger needs to confirm.

GOAT!

First, some business to attend to... After long deliberation, we've decided to place Ted Lindsay (LW) on waivers. He is now available in exchange for 1 draft pick.
With our next pick, The Flying Elbows are proud to select our #2 Center...
From Cole Harbour, NS... Sidney Crosby!

I think a few of us were looking at Bob for the next round. Great player and an even better person.

Sure, center sounds good. Thats all I've seen him play (I've only seen him as center and coach)

Gainey changed to Left-Wing.
Al Iafrate was on OTR last week. He said he can still shoot the puck a hundred miles an hour. "I did it in flip-flops a couple years ago".

I don't think the guy won any awards, but is known, almost as much as Chopper, for his shot... and his hair.
