Inter Milan to play in Edmonton?
Looks like it. Apparently the ASA is negotiating with the club to play a friendly in the chuck against a South American club.

Should be great if true!

Wow, that would be cool. I hate Inter, but I would probably go to that if they came.

They clearly didn't do their homework on the Ronaldo's. I love South American football so I wouldn't definitely go to this game if I could. I do like to watch Inter anyways so this would be great!

God, any other team but Inter Milan and I would totally be there. My hatred for them is beyond words... like literally any other Serie A, La Liga, EPL SPL or Bundesliga team.

Hey, I hate Inter as much as they next guy, I think the only Italian team I can stand is AC Milan, moreso because of their large Brazilian contingent and minor Italian presence...
Hopefully the other team that plays in this game is a good selection. I like watching games with clashing styles, a South American team, hopefully Brazilian or Argentinean vs an Italian team should be good to watch.
Someone should keep an eye on this and so we know when tickets go on sale. Who knows, me might be able to organize a CP Edmonton Invasion.

Why would they travel to the one city in the Northern Hemisphere worse than Milan?

You do realize AC has the largest contigent of Italian NT players... even moreso than Juventus and Roma. Conversely, Inter boast a whopping two. Neither are active anymore.
Abbiati, Nesta, Zambrotta, Maldini, Bonera, Ambrosini, Gattuso, Pirlo, Inzaghi, Favalli, and Borriello have all been NT players in the past while. Aside from Favalli, all of them see regular action when not injured.
T5... even Inter's B team (which is what they would send) could beat most South American squads, there's no fun in that. Plus, I'd hate to think my ticket is even somewhat supporting that team.

Wait are you being sarcastic? Because that is exactly what I said, Napoli is one of the ghettoer Italian cities, still nice for a day or two if you're a tourist but like Rome it has some HUGE downsides. The north is generally more civilized and nicer.
Back on topic I'd love to see this, even if it is in Stabmonton.
