All in all, it seems like an insurmountable series of obstacles.

You heard it here first, the Velociraptor, aka: the CP Home Run King, will indeed be returning to the line-up. My shin still has a mark on it from that one incident when I pitched, but I think I can run through the pain.
And fredr123, Cowboy89, Resolute 14- I would like to thank you in advance for making fun of me all season. It will be my honor to provide you, and the rest of the team, with minutes and minutes of entertainment.
Where's Shawnski at? I assume his league is still on the go but I haven't heard anything yet.
Drinking tryouts should be held soon... but should we wait for after the all-star break? I mean, not to bash on SW or anything, but I have been working on my drinking all year and don't need to practise, and I don't think we need to start our spring training THAT early. #1, we can hold our liquor (especially T_U) and #2, we actually won a game without the opponent defaulting on us. Although, team SW should start to practise now if any of them want to be the first mid-season call up when the velociraptor sprains some important raptor-running muscle.

Have you not met me? Although you can out soccer me, and out-MGD-drink me, I will velociraptor run you till you puke.
No but seriously, can't we pick on someone else for not getting laid? Pick someone who is married .
Oh and as a side note- if you are using your buddies to get laid, then you are doing it wrong. I tend to use a girl.

When you win, you don't have to trash talk.

I'm in again. After all, someone has to laugh at Resolute as he dodges line drives from Shawnski.

Maybe we could learn trash talking from you guys, and in exchange we'll teach you how to not lose so badly.

You'd have to learn how to show up first.

I nearly got him in Drumheller...
Personally, I think the best defence against Shawnski is to put every player at third and taunt him into trying to find a hole.

Annie said she's in again this year.
Haven't talked to Gloria. She seems to be recovering well from off-season microfracture surgery although, as we all know, the prognosis for these kinds of injuries is really difficult to determine.
edit - Just heard from Gloria. Her specialist recommended against her playing basketball this winter during her rehab. Baseball season is still a ways away though so she'll check with her specialist during her next appointment and seek medical clearance for return.
Also, I think Leena would be interested in returning to the big club this year on a full-time basis. Should we extend the invitation to her?

I would say so. She was a good addition to our team, and basically was full time by the end of it. However, she will have to wear the team uniform.
Speaking of which, we should determine if we need to order any more jersies and get together with SW to put in an order.
Also, Firefly and I have been talking about setting up a team meeting at Kits. Any days that would work best for everyone?

She had a microfracture? Hopefully not from that time the ball hit her, because that freaks me out... I never had any surgery!
We should invite Leena, as she was basically a part of the team last year. I will put together a list of people who want to play... if I miss you, then let me know:
Cowboy
Fredr
FireFly
Resolute
REDVAN
Kerplunk
Annie
Maybes: Gloria, Lenna
Want to play: a few people (PM me your email and if you are a guy or girl- I sound like I'm Locke, asking for dates- this is because usually we need another guy or another girl, and I don't want to stack this team with 25 guys and 2 girls.)

I'll put in a word with Leena and advise her of the conditions in her call up.
As for a meeting, days that don't end in "y" work best for me.
Do you guys remember when our league starts? My June might be a bit hectic and I can't guarantee attendance for every game this summer but I will put in best efforts to keep REDVAN and TU honest this season.

Oh, I forgot Kristine. Hopefully she can hit this year... otherwise I might forget to invite her

As long as it doesn't start when the playoffs are on... if (and only if) the Flames are still in, that will take precedence.
