Anybody else get money(paper) with this written on it. The website appears to keep track of where the bill in question has been. This current bill has had a boring life. It has travelled 108 KM in 269 Days, 4 Hrs, 33 Mins at an average of 0.40 KM per day. No word on any G-strings or stuff like that. Website is www.whereswilly.com

Another interesting piece of info on the 5$ bill in question: This bill came from the TD in TD Square yesterday. Spent on April 20 during game six of the Flames/Sharks NHL playoff 1st round. Guess boring was the wrong word.

Yeah, that bill doesn't have the most exciting history. It has two hits, which not too bad. But neither went far from home and also neither your entry or the one before entered a comment. Usually the comments are the most interesting part.

I find that a very small percentage of bills that are spent in Calgary actually leave the province. I'd estimate it at about 10-15%. So, bills like the one you got are pretty normal. However, I do have bills that have made it to every province, NWT, Yukon, Michigan, and even Oxford, UK.

It is an interesting little hobby because you never know where a bill is going to end up. I encourage you to enter some of the money you have, mark them, and spend them like you normally would. You'd probably be surprised at how addictive it can be.

What's really funny, is that my wife noticed your post before I did. When she read me the comment, I was pretty sure it was mine. Then I checked my email and sure enough I got the notice that one of my bills was found.

Most people don't put a comment in. But when they do, it is usually interesting. It could be a mundane comment such as they got it at a grocery store, or something clearly made up such as using the bill for toilet paper.

If you do want to add a comment, you can change it. You probably have to register to do that, but it is possible. I often edit the comments after I spend it to mention where I spent it.
