Default Keyboards like Macbook/Vaio?

I really like the keyboards on the new Macbooks and Vaio laptops, where the keys are space out and have short depress length. They look like chiclets with big gaps in between. I've tried these and they are a joy to type on.

Where can I find a keyboard like this for USB for use on a PC? Are there any non Apple ones that are cheaper? Also I would prefer black keys.

Check the apple store. This one isn't black but I have it and it's awesome.

Clearly you need a PC Jr and it's chiclet keyboard. IBM was wayyy ahead of Apple on this one.

Something like a Di Novo perhaps?

DiVino is the closest thing youll find on PC but its $$$. And I agree too, I much prefer laptop style keyboards cause of the much shorter key travel over reg. desktop kbs.

Dinovo is the wrong kind of keys. I'm not looking for a laptop style keyboard (if that's what you want, there are plenty of budget models that have those too) but the specific kind on Macs, Vaios, and some other highend keyboards where the individual keys don't touch each other but are spaced out. Looks like that IBM keyboard posted...except that they are modern and not made with crappy rubber membrane and don't suck.

^Oh I know what you mean.

I have this laptop, I know the keys arent as spaced out as the one above but still better than 90% of the laptop keyboards out today.

How does it adapt to a Windows PC? Do the command/option buttons turn into ALT/Windows keys or something?

I have an apple wireless keyboard, when I use bootcamp that is exactly what they do. They turn into the ALT/Windows keys. Now I think there is a problem if you do not have SP2, so if you plan on getting a apple keyboard make sure you have SP2 at the minimum.
