Do you wear non matching socks?

Well, sometimes my socks are a little crunchy, so yeah, I'll wear socks that aren't matched.

I do. I don't really care. But if there's a hole in the sock, of any size that it is noticeable when I put my sock on... that's it. Gone. Thrown out. No hesitation.

I buy cheap brightly colored tacky socks at the dollar store and somehow manage to lose one half of each pair right at home in my laundry room. I'm cheap so I'll wear them mismatched under my workboots. When I wear sneakers to the gym I always make sure the socks match.

I used to just not care enough to match them, and would wear whatever I grabbed first. Then my woman's dad kept bugging me about it until i got a shred of care in me, and they are usually at least the same color.

Socks suck. I only wear them when I absolutely have to, and -40 degree temps aren't one of the times I'll wear them. Weddings, funerals, business meetings, some social occassions, those are about the only times I'll wear socks.

I had a bet with Mrs Prefect one time that I could get away with wearing socks on less than 50 occasions during the year. I wound up wearing them 48 times, but that's only because I'd only worn them around 40 times by Christmas, so I went nuts for the rest of the year what with all the social events during Christmas.

When I do have to wear socks I try to at least wear reasonably close to matching socks ... a lot of them are pretty similar.

My son on the other hand steadfastly refuses to wear matching socks. He's not even fussy about having them both right side out. The lad is a bit of a Bohemian ... maybe even more so than his old man.

I hate socks that don't match, it's one of my biggest pet peeves. My sister constantly wears socks that don't match and it drives me crazy! Like they really don't match, she'll wear a white sport sock and a purple plaid short sock. It's horrific!

Always match! I can't stand the feeling of two different socks on my feet!

It gets worse. All of my socks; sport, ankle, black, navy, tan, brown and grey are from the same company. Further more I can't even wear the same colour socks from different product cycles. eg. A 2 year old black sock won't go with a 1 year old black sock because they've faded different amounts. Finally, I always try to match my socks to my dress pants!

I'll wear ripped sweat pants and a tie die t-shirt to Safeway, the mall or even the bar... but when it comes to dress clothes I'm full on OCD...
