my wife is so annoyed, he gets muted or the channel is changed immediately when he comes on. Not as bad as the "unofficial" Wendy guy, but damn close.

I saw a new commercial from this series a few days ago. I can't even remember what the product was, but I said to my girlfriend, "I bet before the end of the ad we see him using it on his boat."
It turns out I was wrong, but I got a consolation prize...the last thing he says while they're showing the Canadian Tire logo is "Next weekend let's take it to the cottage and use it on the boat."

To me, he comes across as a Bob Vila wanna-be know-it-all.

But neither are as bad as 'Jared', I haven't been to subway since that guy has been thier 'mascot' (ok maybe it has to do with the fact that the subs suck, but thats another story).

The worst thing about the CT guy is he's really touchy feely. Grabbing his buddies arms or worst yet - patting them on the tummy. WTF is that?

He's not that bad but some of that stuff he demos on the commercials looks just useless. Like that spinning thing that you are supposed to use on your car, I bet that leaves circular scratches all over the paint.

It's good to see he's universally hated.

It was worth posting that twice because thats exactly how I'd describe him. If I was his neighbour I'd act exactly like Homer Simpson in an attempt to run him out of the neighbourhood. And when he did leave I still wouldn't give him back all those tools!!

CT was in serious financial trouble a few years back. They have reinvented themselves with all that specialty stuff and are making money again.
Good on them!

Well you can mute them, or change channels. Or TIVO the show. Strange that people still watch commercials with all the options available to skip them.

I'm too lazy to change the channel sometimes, but the mute button is always there.

They may be annoying but this damn kid taakes the cake, or foot, whatever you prefer.

Fotze, you had to bring that red headed kid up? I try to change the channel before my two year old sees it. I can't stand watching that show.
There are some other really annoying kids shows, but he defenitly is the worst
