Negrin had a 2 point game tonight following his big 5 points last night. Slowed down a bit offensively after a good start to the year so good to see him putting up some points.

Sorry my friend that was a back hand short side over the blocker. remember Chucko is a righty and he came in from the left. but it sure was pretty.

Nemisz with the only goal today in the Spitfires 1-0 win over the Plymouth Whalers. 3rd star for Nemisz, with the goalies getting 1st and 2nd.

Nemisz is currently 9th in OHL scoring

Negrin is 10th among D-men in WHL scoring

Mitch Wahl finished the WJHC with 1G 3A; he was great in the faceoff circle at 61.5%

Kyle Greentree is looking solid. Could he be another late bloomer like Glencross. Not saying he is going to be a legit top 6 forward but quite possibly a big body, 3rd line forward who can chip in 10-20 goals a season.

Ryley Grantham traded to the Kelowna Rockets.

Trade deadline in the dub is this Saturday. I could Aulie possibly getting moved if the Wheat Kings get a good offer for him.

Nemisz with another 3 point night tonight. This time one goal and two helpers.

He's quickly becoming my favourite prospect along with Pelech.

Uh, wow, Jaime Lundmark is 3 points out of being tied for 2nd overall in points in the AHL. Thats actually pretty impressive. Just imagine if Lundmark broke out and became the 1A center for the Big flames. Improbable? Yes. Impossible? is nothing.
