Gets to kick the crap out of guys who mess with Backlund is probably more accurate.

Since Backlund is playing in the NHL thats starts his contract correct? so Why not send him to the QC since his contract is signed and started after hes done in calgary in a couple of games. Unless he just goes nuts and makes sutter keep him up there by making jarome look like a minor leaguer.

I like how Hamilton just comes out and calls Grantham "a heavy weight champ".

He does lead the dub in PIM's with 132 in 38 games. Next closest are Beach with 106 minutes and Rigby Burgart with 105....Rigby's last name looking like Burgerfart probably has something to do with the high minutes....

Well, As you all know I want him here in the qc in the worst way. say this is just a one game deal. Why not send him to the qc for 9 games to see how he does.

Sureloss thanks for the info.

Because if he is not in the NHL then the WHL is a much better place for his development.

There is really no reason, other than appeasing QC fans like yourself , for him to go to QC.

Also, unless you are a big fan of the Flames I think that you would be pretty disappointed with Backlund in QC as he would not be close to a great player there and likely would be a .5 PPG player at best, not some sort of offensive whiz that I imagine you would expect him to be.

so your saying all those people marking him in at the beginning of the year as a top 6 were wrong?
