I hope Pete leaves USC. I hate that pro program. I really wonder how much Bush and Leinert made while they played at USC.

My guess is less than the 3rd stringers make in the SEC, but not every school has Jimmy-Bob and T-Joe to help "subsidize" recruiting.

And no I don't think that Tech is better than UT, however they beat us and that's why I don't complain too much about the national championship we're going to win it next year anyways which will coincidentally be MacK Brown's last. I also don't think OU is better than us because we beat you. And yes if we played you again I think we would beat you again.

So my "transitive property of football" (or whatever you said) logic doesnt work but your arguing that your logic does? You just said head to head is the only thing that matters and thats why you think Texas is better than Oklahoma but you still say UT is better than tech ( whom if you dont remember beat Texas head to head)
Well after watching Texas play ohio state im thinking you might be wrong about a rematch.... If Ou's offense is even half of what it was during the season its twice as better than what Ohio state had out there, hell their starting qb was struggling hitting his warm up partner much less receivers on the field. I guess I cant really sway your argument but it doesnt really matter seeing as how Oklahoma is in the National title game and Texas isnt. That really gives our BCS answer, Oklahoma is better than Texas because the Natonial Title game is played between #1 and #2 ..... Whether you like it or not thats just the way it is ....

Just because i heard this on the sports radio here and its winding down to game time.... When Barry Switzer won his 2nd Natl title his record to date was 109-23 . Bob's record to date , as he is going for his 2nd natl title , is 109-23..... OMEN!
my prediction OU 45- Fl 31

I don't think Texas Tech is better than UT, but if OU had not blown out Tech I would have had no problem with Tech getting the nod over Texas because they beat us fair and square. BCS means nothing to me it's a joke and pretty much all the world knows it.

thats not the point... the point is you say you think texas is better than oklahoma bc of head the head so why do you use different standards to rank whether a team is better than another when the team that cane out on the wrong side of your head to head theory is your favorite team .....Even though Mack doesnt understand, i would hope someone of reasonable intelligence realizes you cant have it both ways. Fine if you think Texas is better cause they beat OU , then you have surrender to the fact that tech is better than Ut because the beat UT. SO if you use your head to head theory, and against MAck's Diarrhea of the mouth, then Texas is not the Best team in the country cause they got beat head to head by someone else. Hell using that theory Florida isnt either ( cause Ole Miss is a better team than them) , neither is OU . Your theory would say Utah would have to be because they didnt get beat by anyone and we all know Utah isnt because they didnt play any of the "big boys"

Just a strange 1st half in the NC game.
14 pts between two powerhouse offenses...teams that just dont turn the ball over much have combined for 4 of em...OU has given it up twice inside the FL 5 yard line, and that could kill em in the end.
Defenses are playing well...but seemingly not to that 7 pts a side level. Weird.

Could the FOX broadcast team be in love with Tim Tebow any more? It's disgusting.
Passion, Power. Give me a break.

Stoops has made some critical play calling errors in this game and it looks more and more like it will cost them.
You can't run that much on 3rd down when your strength is your QB. (not that they are a bad running team, they're certainly not). You HAVE to go for it on 4th and 5 from that spot. 49 yarder? No thanks.

They could and the reason that I know this is that the CBS guys prove it every week they cover college football.
Unbelievable the way that Oklahoma is throwing this game away. They should be winning by a TD or two.
Considering how bad these teams are playing I wonder, but highly doubt, if voters will consider moving one of the other teams (USC, Utah, Texas) up to number 1 in the AP poll.

Im no fan of his or florida...or OU for that matter....but I have to say Tebow is as good a college player as I have seen in a long long time.
He does play with passion and he is certainly a powerful runner...not sure what the dispute is with that.

This is the line/sentiment that drives me nuts (and not only with Tebow but AO as well). Does he really have more passion than other guys that play the game? Is Sam Bradford able to do the things that he does without passion out there?
I think that too often people equate the showy/yelling/screaming with having more passion than other guys I haven't seen any indication that Tebow has anymore passion than most other great players do.

The drama with which the words are uttered is my problem. It's a nationally televised game. They should be making an effort not to be Gator cheerleaders.
I have no problems with Tebow at all, he's great.

They keep bringing up the Franks comment.
Is it REALLY that outlandish of a statement?
Bradford, McCoy, Harrell.
That's not a huge leap. I'm sorry.

Well in the end...it was as many suggested. OU had not seen a defense of that FL calibre all year, and it was the difference.
One of those games where I just never thought the outcome was in doubt.
Huge props to Florida for doing what they needed since that Ole Miss game to get where they are.

I'm a Florida fan so I'm happy for them. All of that might change next year as I'm currently trying to enroll in Sports Management at the University of Tennessee.

good game , as an OU fan im disappointed but props to Florida a good game by them. I was happy with the Sooner team they went and played Florida who in all reality had the home field advantage and played with them when everyone thought their defense wouldnt be able to stop florida.Im sure tebow doesnt wanna play that defense again they hit him hard a few times and picked a couple of his passes. If Ou converts on those two goal line situations its a different ball game. 21-7 going into the half. The short game is where we missed Demarco Murray the most. Those two picks on Bradford were two of the wierdest picks i have seen. The one on the goal line was tipped like 5 times and the one in the 4th the receiver had it then let loose and the defender had no clue he had the ball til he got up and it was in his hands. OU just didnt get the breaks tonight and played a great team. Ou def deserved t to be in the game tonight and played well, Once the BCS put the two best teams in the Natl Title game COngrats to the Gators......
..... BUt OU is still better than them shorthorns... BOOMER!!!
