I love irrational behaviour.

If you were really concerned about your life there are MANY more activities that are much more statistically deadly than eating at an Asian restaurant.

Like, for instance, DRIVING.

So as a counter, I would say that you are looking out for your safety much more if you walked to eat at the Asian restaurant instead of drove to a non-Asian restaurant.

Noticed some posts from people planning on visiting the restaurant for support. They had the owner on the news this morning and he's still closed while they finish cleaning up. He said he's gotten lots of calls from his customers asking when he's opening and mentioned something like he was grateful for all the support.

Well I have a full blown addiction to Pho and have no choice other than to keep eating the stuff. Thai basil and mung bean sprouts contain crack you know. Seriously, I sometimes take the soup home with me and its fine but it tastes better hot from the kitchen hence I'll brave the gunfire and park myself in the restaurant. It might deserve a thread all its own but I'm still seeking the best bowl of Sate rare beef Pho in the city. Any suggestions? Asians are welcome to give thier opinions.

Didn't the chinese invent gunpowder? Pretty sure they did. That's it, I'm boycotting bullets.

I have a German kevlar vest from the Bundeswehr. I'll just have to remember to wear it at all times when eating Pho. The neck protector will get in the way of slurping from my bowl though.

that one of my problems with them.....I don't think they are being honest, they can invent gunpowder, the printing press, but the fork escapes them? Do they use two big sticks to clean out stables?

If I'm going to eat at least its going to be on a full stomach.

The ultimate in irony is being so paranoid to avoid crime that you withdraw from the things that you like to do only to shot in the face during a random drive by shooting when the bullet accidentally comes through your window and kills you while your doing your taxes.

We invented(bred)the pug and the chow chow too. Run for your lives if you see these demon dogs walking the streets. We trained them to sic balls on white folks!

I think the thing I admire most about the Chinese is that they're hanging in there with the chopsticks. Because, if you think about it, you know, they've seen the fork... by now. I'm sure they've seen the spoon, they're going, "Yeah, yeah, they're OK... We're going to stay with the sticks." I mean, I don't know how they've missed it: thousands of years ago, Chinese farmer gets up, has his breakfast with the chopsticks, goes out and works all day in the field with a shovel... Hello?... Shovel! Not going out there ploughing 40 acres with a couple of pool cues.

The funniest thing ever is when i see non-asian people eat rice off a plate with chopsticks! hahahaa. that is so stupid. Chinese people only use chopsticks when we eat from a bowl. We use a FORK when we eat rice from a plate.

Nothing wrong with that! haha. Actually i did that last month when i didn't run the dishwasher. It's hard to get the sauce though. I ended up with half a plate of sauce left.

But do you eat rice off a plate with chopsticks? It's not cool people!
