Thats a tad extreme no? In a city of a million for the amount of gunplay that has gone on people shouldnt be modifying their behaviour. I'm surprised people think its gotten this bad.

Interesting.. I guess I wont be tailgating any DWA's for the next while. Judging by the "victims" that have piled up these gangs are made up of many different ethinicities.

 I hope you don't drive your car to wherever you DO go out to eat, as there were a lot more deaths attributed to car crashes last year than there were to any kind of gang violence. I mean, if you REALLY want to be safe.

I'm nervous too. As such, I'm totally avoiding Superstore. Too many asians in the ethnic section, and they always roll in large numbers. You never know when you might see a squabble break out over the last fresh cabbage, and grandma pulls a gun.

A lot of the times we venture outside of math related courses for our options, don't lull yourself into a false sense of security.

Exactly. We have one innocent death due to a gang shooting an suddenly people are altering their social patterns. We have countless innocent deaths due to drunk driving and my guess is that nobody is curving their driving habits at all. Perhaps your new years reolition should be to put more things in perspective.
