Old men need to learn how to ogle silently like the rest of us.
I think it's the age group. My father in law is similar. He doesn't say anything, he just leers. Then again, he's blind as a bat, too.

If you were truly lazy you'd just eat with your fingers.
On guys, yes

No, the white collar offsets the clash.

I can't eat with my hands, it's not ladylike.

just be sure to only purchase foods that are liquid enough that you don't have to use a utensil and you can just drink: soup, yogurt, chili, oatmeal, etc.

easier, faster, cleaner.

The kid having his stick stolen thread reminded me of being at the airport here in Calgary.

Inside the secure area waiting to board I saw some Westjet employees. A pilot, some stewardesses etc. Right as they called for us to board our plane I notice that in the EXACT spot they were standing there was a pile of money.

At this point I've got literally 20 people ahead of me and at least as many behind because we had just been called to board. I noticed the money and pointed it out to my friend. She said I should just go grab it.

My problem was that with all these people around I didn't want to look like a jerk by sprinting over and taking the money, don't get me wrong I'm not above picking up lost money I just don't want to look like a degenerate. I also wasn't sure if anyone else had seen it, how awkward would it have been if me and another guy tried to grab it at the same time. I did go pick it up and it was about $40 IIRC so my cab ride when I got to Kelowna was basically free.

in regard to ^^^

In my job, I can't pick up anything like that. Postal inspectors will go out and plant money in neighborhoods in order to 'test' letter carriers. It's an offense that can result in termination rapidly.

Why? I have no idea.

I think there is a lesson to be learned from the old guy. Checking her out when she doesn't know is what not to do. Really, when checking someone out you should make it obvious (in a non-sleazy way), otherwise you're wasting an opportunity. Why lurk in the shadows with you're checking out when you could bring it out into the light and make something of it?

I've just started the transition to the dark side (management). It will be interesting to see things from the other perspective.

I'm not into entrapment though.

I was just reading a feature on cbc.ca about chinooks and saw that in the 'effects' section, it mentions this strange little nugget:

Wire fences can become electrified due to the strong positive electrical charge in the air. Cattle have been electrocuted in this way.

Is this true? Has anyone ever seen this happen?

Ive heard that when it warms up, the salty slush water evaporates and condenses on power lines ect. Thats why there were so many pole fires last year that shut down power to much of the south. The salt in the air and water vapor causes it.

I showed my 8 year old cousin the pee and poop toys over Christmas, LOL. I wonder if he'll ask for it from Santa next year.

So I was eating today and thought I had something sharp stuck in my teeth, because my tongue kept scraping against something.

Get home, look in the mirror, and there is a crater of a cavity in one of my back teeth, creating a sharp edge.

WTF? How could I not have noticed??? Guess I'm off to the dentist tomorrow....
