Mmm didn't know it was PG, probably a good thing. Still, lots of little kiddies at the free showing I went to. Lots of Dads had so do some 'splaining to do!

I always wondered how Leia got the sweet gig of being raised as Royalty, while Luke got shafted and had to go live in an Igloo like shack on some crappy Edmonton like Planet with some crochety old man. Sexism!

What else can I complain about... OK, at the end Yoda simply says "I must go into exile." Huh? Give us a little better explanation George, even if a fanboy can figure it out on his own, we want a little more in the way of motivation and thought process from the characters.
I dunno, the going into exile doesn't seem like a stretch or something that needed elaboration for me.

I took it as -> Yoda gets the responsibility of vanquishing Palpatine -> Yoda fails at said task -> Yoda goes into a self-imposed exile because of his failure and the accompanying emotional elements.

Or how about, Yoda at his strongest couldn't beat Palpatine at his strongest, and he also knew that the Jedi were ill prepared to take on the Sith who had been preparing for this battle for a thousand years. Since he couldn't defeat Palpatine and there was no chance that Obi Wan could beat Palpatine Yoda went into exile because he knew that in the end there would be another opportunity to defeat the Sit and he needed to make sure that he was alive to usher that opportunity in.

Finally went to see it tonight. Not bad. Christensen definitely worked on doing some real acting here. Too bad the dialogue wasn't up to snuff. Ewan McGregor did not disappoint. But my god, did Natalie Portman really get an Oscar nomination? It sure wasn't for this film. Yech! Still a little too much special effect and not enough story. But it at least tied up all the loose ends.
