now you know why they put the whistles away in hockey.

Great football game....just terrific work by both defenses.

Sproles...wow what a time to step up and make a difference.

Good games today...have a feeling at least one tomorrow will be just fugly.

You have to call the obvious facemask though...that was a penalty and the ref was right there...

kinda like shooting the puck over the glass, you have no choice but too call it...i don't like it either, but those are the rules

Like Displaced said, the Charger guy was holding his mask first.. that cancels it out.

Thank you Chargers. Manning and the Colts are one of my least favorite teams.

Well this is why it is a good idea to invest in good backups at skill positions. Two years in a row a Chargers back up running back makes a big impact on them being able to beat the Colts. I think Mr. Sproles is going to attract a great deal of interest this off season. San Diego is dangerous after all the hard luck they've had and to have survived this long I'm thinking it won't be just the Bronco's and Colts who wish they'd been shot down when they were left for dead.

I'll go on record right now and say that I don't think they have a prayer of winning in Nashville. Rivers is god awful under pressure and he's going to see a lot more of it next week.

They could play the Steelers too. I echo that they don't have a prayer against either.

Well surprise surprise, a bitter Pats fan and a bitter Bronco's fan. You'll both be saying the same thing next week! The Chargers are a team of destiny!

You're right, for some reason I keep giving them the 6th seed.

A game in Pittsburgh would be even worse for them.

I don't know how you can root for that team as a Chiefs fan. What the hell is the matter with you? It's almost as bad as rooting for the Raiders.!

Ha ha. Well I can't say I'm rooting for them so much as challenging Karma to make me look like an arse. But I will say that I would love for the Chiefs to replace the whiniest, most selfish jerk in the entire league, Mr. Larry "half of my off field problems are my fault" Johnson with Darren Sproules. That was one hell of an all around effort by him.

But I think you two are right, that game probably took too much out of the Chargers for them to knock off a team coming off a bye, even if they stood half a chance in the first place.
