Yes. But there are Sobey's in Kanata and Orleans too. Not that I'd ever live in Orleans though.

There are actually multiple Sobey's in Ottawa but they are all outside the Greenbelt.
I don't think they're anything too special though. The one thing I can be certain of with Sobey's is that if they have anything decent on sale, they won't have any of it in stock.
^ I don't usually shop at Sobey's but I thought it was a Western Canada thing.
It's actually an Atlantic Canada thing. They are headquartered in Nova Scotia. I've been in one in Saint John and it was much nicer then the ones I've been in in Ontario.
I knew there was one in Barrhaven, but that's so out of my way I would never go to it... however I know there are Sobey's in the east... considering I saw quite a few when I was in NS for the past week...
So far I'd have to say 2009 is off to a pretty bad start. A couple of days ago my dog stopped eating her food. I tried giving her a bit of plain cereal and a bit of cheese (the only people food she can eat) just to see if she would eat that. For a day or two she would eat that, but then stopped eating entirely. I noticed she started to throw up a lot too, mostly bile since she wasn't eating anything. And then she stopped drinking water too.
Today I took her to the vet, because I was getting really worried. After some other tests, they took some x-rays, and found a mass larger than a fist in her chest. The vet said he had never seen anything like it. They took some samples and sent them off to the lab, and we should know by tomorrow what this "mass" actually is. However the vet said it does not look good.
I'm pretty sad, because this dog is my childhood pet. She's almost 14, and has lived a very good life, and I knew this day would come eventually... but I think that deep down I was secretly hoping she'd live as long as I do!
Good luck to you and your dog...I hate hearing about things like this.

I'm so sorry . This is always a really hard thing to go through.
I will hope for good news for you with your dog. They really are family.

Well Sobeys, or at least the ones in Ottawa, now carry them. And best of all, they carry more then one flavour. I picked up Original, Chewy Caramel, and (for the first time) Dark! Can't wait to have some tonight while watching the Sens (hopefully) beat the hell out of the Leafs.
Best thing to come out of Australia since... well, it's the best thing to come out of Australia.
It's a chocolate cookie that is unbelievable when used in a Tim Tam Slam....

But I will be eating some lovely nachos tonight watching the game.
Chicken I was planned to have for dinner wasn't defrosted so I've got to improvise and nachos it is! Hopefully, this goes better then the last time I had nachos and didn't eat for 36+ hours afterward.
There is nothing worse, when eating chocolates, than to be expecting one type of chocolate and instead end up biting down on coffee-caramel.
Coffee-caramel sounds good. For me it's biting into a chocolate, getting a funny feeling in my mouth, taking a closer look at the ingredients list and discovering that I missed cashew/pecan/walnut/hazelnut the first time I looked.
