30GB MS Zunes crashed last night...

Well that makes upgrading my MP3 player an easier choice. Was looking at the Zune as a possibility to replace my 8 gig nano.
Don't get me wrong, I love the iPod brand, I just really REALLY hate iTunes.

wow, even the zune itself doesn't want to see zunes around anymore. Kind of odd that they are all doing it y2k style though ... Perhaps Hale Bopp has returned?

I just took out my 30 GB Zune after reading the article to see if I had the same problem. And it sure looks like it does.
This really sucks since I love my Zune and think it is way better then an iPod.

Kind of OT here, but GTF - I didn't buy a Zune (thankfully now) because they didn't have an available music store here in Canada - where do you get your music? Do you use ITunes or just a p2p service?

P2P for me. Considering I have iPods along with a Zune, it wouldn't make sense for a music store or subscription service.

The Zune issue appears to resolve itself by the change to the new year.
I'm recharging my Zune now and will hopefully mine will work again.

Zunes will now brainwash their owners and turn them into Microsoft militia slaves! They will shoot iPod and Android users on sight!
