World traveling souvenir?
When reading the thread about Cp'ers you've met, I thought about something I saw in a different forum that I thought was cool.
They bought a little stuffed animal, and then the various members of the forum would take pictures with it and then send it on to the next person.
I know it would not be as fun for all the people in Calgary, as that would get boring seeing the same stuff from hundreds of members, but would the various CP'ers from around the world be interested in this?
Essentially, the only requirement is enough money to ship it to the next place. On the other forum, they found enough folks that could manage to send it long distances and then planned around that. We could have a planning thread, a thread documenting the voyage and then a thread with pics.
Does this all seem too stupid or is there interest in something like this?

only instead of a teddy bear, we use an Oilers jersey or t-shirt and each person takes a picture and tries to outdo the last in how badly they can defoul it, without destroying it

yea, but probably by the time the second guy got it he wouldn't want to touch it, wondering what disgusting body part the last guy touched it with.

How about a Calgary Puckers jersey? Pictures of that unique jersey in front of various famous sites around the world would be pretty cool.

Aeneas's "cheeky monkey" has been photographed all over the world, and has even been kidnapped a few times.

Maybe something like a Jarome Iginla bobble-head would be good. Or a plush Iggy toy (do they make those???).

i like the idea of the puckers jersey myself. i agree the oilers jersey would probably be funnier, but could get pretty gross!

assuming the list of places/people doesn't get too big, we could always have people sign it as well.
