There should be open ice at Jack Setter (Ogden, take Glenmore east to 18th street) at 9pm on Sunday December 28th. I'll confirm tomorrow.

Is there anyone else that lives in the north that would prefer a more central location? If im the only one, then I would of course comprimise but if there are a few of us then it maybe more tough..

I say we have a poll for indoor/outdoor and north/south/central.
You sure do complain alot for a guy who has no interest in organizing an event he brought up

So here's the deal, my buddy plays in this league where you basically own your ice time, and this is his teams ice time. Then they contact other teams to play against with their ice time, however, this Sunday they've decided not to use the ice time.

The problem is that he thinks him and 4 or 5 guys from the team will be there, and he also plays for the Puckers and put the word out for any of us to come out. So if we take his team, the Puckers and guys from CP that want to play, it could be potential for an excessive turnout, especially if CP'ers are bringing out buddies with them.

So for now, I'll try to get a definite number on how many Puckers are coming out, and if it sounds like there will be too many guys, we can go with an outdoor meetup.

Just please note that some of the people ( namely me) are horrible at hockey and some ( namely me) can't skate. Make sure you let them know ahead of time ... i will def come out and dont really care if i embarass myself but im not sure if people who are really good would enjoy playing with a beginner

Sunday weather looks good - sunny and -7 C. I think outdoors is the way to go. There is a rink near Pete's Pub, or perhaps something else in the center or SW?

I'd really love to play (and then meet some more CPer's at Pete's afterwards) but I'm already going to be playing on Sunday evening and I can't really ditch the wife with the kid for an entire day of playing hockey.

Maybe another time during the outdoor 'season'.
