Too many....it's odd where you run into people. However, I went to school with Muta and Jayems, both very nice guys.

Neither of us realized it until cp the next day. We all did the Hale thing during the anthem.. I just remember thinking it was peculiar that a bunch of chicks behind me knew about that. That game I also sat next to a lurker whos been on here since 04.. He joked that some people are a lil obsessed with this site, I never mentioned who I was after that..

Third line centre baby! I'm just gonna feed the puck to my man Redvan and watch him put it top shelf. BTW Resolute, I happened to take in a game with Slava a few weeks ago and spotted you there. Might have been the Kings game.
I'm surprised, now that I think about it, how many folks from CP I've met. Good people, every last one of them.

Two Vikings fans on the same ball team? I like it.
Between the SW and Central team I'd imagine there will be a spot or two but it's hard to tell this early. Can you drink? Can you still smile after many crushing losses? Will you have 4x4's back after he takes a swing at the umpire? If so, this may just be the place for you Pagal.

Can you handle getting blown out night after night after night? If so, SW is for you!
And, do add two more: Flamesinyoureyes, and RinkRat.

I've met StoneCole. That was enough.
Oh wait, I bought a PS2 off of Flames Draft Watcher a few years ago.
I think I've met a couple of the Lethbridge CP members from time to time, but didn't want to pull the "Hey, do you post on CP?". Been tempted to randomly say "The sky is blue..." when I seen another Flames fan, just to see if they are a CP member who has been around enough to complete the phrase.

It's funny I have to say the same thing. I suppose that if you bother to show your face and remove the anonymity surrounding your CP handle, then clearly you're not the typical drive-by poster.

If I remember correctly, Rhettzky came into our dressing room and invited us to BP's after the game, and we said "yeah for sure, but we may have to help finish a case of beer in the parking lot first". If memory serves me correctly, we proceeded to crush 30 or more beers in the parking lot, and didn't end up getting to BP's til like midnight, and you, living in the far reaches of NW Calgary, decided it was too late, so me and Josh met up with them and crushed a few pitchers, or something like that.
|
I remember that, kind of akward situation. Opening the door to the opposing teams dressing room after a game and saying "uhhh... is flameswin here?" Too funny.

I unfortunately have only ever talked to Dobbles and Igitang online on the Fatas PS3 nhl09 team.
But im thinking once i get to interknow some of you better i would love to come down for a CP get together (shinny, or slowpitch or whatever). This forum is the only thing that gets me through the depressing days in northern alberta, working in a remote gas plant!!
