I highly dislike peanut butter but I like Reese's pieces. Is that weird?

Yes it is. Peanut butter is one of the greatest foods on god's green earth!

Though I understand the sentiment. I like Twizzlers black licorice, but I HATE anything else that is black licorice flavoured.

Do those all taste like black licorice?

I mean, I know the latter does, but kittens?

No, yes and no.

And it makes me wonder that Gozer knows what a blow job tastes like...

I just noticed that it's an all new Prison Break on FOX tonight. I thought all the shows were on reruns now. I'd have been annoyed to have missed it and have to download it.

My mom is pretty upset cause her boss at work gave out gifts to everyone in lieu of an actual bonus. She got a gift basket, where more than half the products were expired. There was a candle in there, that looked like someone had used it once or twice. I think it was re-gifted. She's angry. I also think she's pretty hurt cause she's worked for this guy for about 13 years and this is what she gets for it.

It ranks up there with the mismatched gloves my dads girlfriend got me as one of the worst (by worst I mean hilarious) gifts...

I'm not a big fan of DQ ice cream cakes but I just saw a commercial for their new Blizzard cakes and they look pretty tasty. Or at least the one that's got a red swirl in it does.

She should rant and rave about this in front of Cousin Eddie. That'll solve the problem.

Mine would be a feathered pink steering wheel cover from my grandmother.

My sister's friend had this encounter:

Well, we had another encounter with our crazy neighbour last night
>(the one who was yelling at us for ordering pizza...etc. the other
>weekend). She caught me on the way back from work and told me that
>she was going to bring over a basket for us later that night (she
>said not to worry--it was a "fun" basket)!
>
>Well, she followed through...and brought one over. It contained
>items like: a single glove, partially eaten moldy black berries, a
>stale baguette, a shoe horn...a Christmas Card with nothing in
>it...the list goes on. check it out!

LOL, does that actually work?
I would like to avoid the annual lecture about flossing.

That's crappy. Seriously though if you are going to be so cheap about a gift, at least get a nice bottle of wine for someone. You can get some great wine starting as low as $14, so why waste money on a crappy gift basket that nobody wants. At least the wine is useful, it helps you forget about your cheap boss.

Probably because the guy is so cheap, that he wont spend the $14 and instead recycle some crappy gift that someone else gave him or his wife or something.

Ah, grandmothers. Mine once got me and my brothers a fly swatter. That was the nicest thing she's ever done for us, horrible horrible woman.

On another note I noticed that those Quality Street chocolates cost $17 at safeway today, who would pay for those?
There were some decent products in there, it's just they were all well past their expiry dates. I guess someone forgot to check the stickers on them before passing them along to my mom. She was really excited about these little tea candles that use batteries and you just flip the switch and they light up. They don't work. It's just an amazing gift basket of used and expired crap. No bonus, just crap for mom.

And you were right. Some of it was dusty.

That's fantastic. What can you do but laugh at the absurdity of the contents of a gift basket like that?

Yes, DQ cakes are the best!
Baskin Robbins cake with peanut butter & chocolate ice cream a close second.
