I think for the first time in my life, I'd really like to have slippers. My feet have been cold an awful lot lately.
I could probably go shovel my driveway now that snow has stopped and the plow has gone by but I really don't want to do it.

Ugh, just got home from shopping . . . again!
It's freaking cold out there, I can't imagine how you people in Calgary are standing it, it's way colder where you are.
3 more days and still lots to do, house cleaning, groceries, two more days of work, wrapping etc. etc.
Every year I say I would like to go away for Christmas next year, but I don't know if it will every come to be.

Seconded! We Asians often beat a raw egg and use it as a dipping sauce when eating hot pot. It's great! It cools the food you're cooking and gives it a nice texture. Add some soy sauce and hot sauce in the mix.... mmmm....

but packing for a May possession, and having said possession date pushed back to Dec/Jan sucks even more!
and now im almost ready to take possession, but havent heard from the lawyers in regards to signing docs yet...
the whole process of buying a house sucks...but i guess it sure beats renting

Yeah, I'm thinking about moving out of the place I'm in next year so that I can finally live alone.
But moving really does suck that much....and this is just my stuff. I can't imagine doing it with a family.

I am getting my haircut in an hour and I am actually doing my hair before going in. I have spent a lot of time making it look its best. I always do this before going to a salon, I want so desperately to impress them for some reason. I know that he's just going to wet my hair down immediately upon going in, but I can't help myself.

Thats no worse than meticulously brushing your teeth before the dentist. Which might I add I think is stupid. I'm going in for a cleaning, paying $200. Why shouldnt you clean my teeth?

I never thought about that, but you're right. Maybe since Dentist have a habit of making you feel bad about taking care of your teeth 
It's like why I become an ultra pro flosser 2 weeks before seeing the dentist to make sure my gums don't start bleeding when they pick at it with that metal poker
