Oh my GOD what is it with the nosy people in Ottawa?
I just moved into the place I'm at this year and I was shoveling the driveway last week.
Meanwhile about 3 townhouses down, someone is doing the same to the driveway. However, whenever he decides to take a break, he leans on his shovel, and stares DIRECTLY AT ME.
I'm not talking looks over once or twice. I mean takes deliberate snow-shoveling breaks to freaking STARE at me. I mean his entire body facing me with his head and arms rested on the handle of his shovel, staring at me for at least two minutes at a time (each break).
Freaking creepy.

Well, I am not in Ottawa right now, but there are people like that everywhere. They just need to know everything about everyone on their street. Over the summer, my mom had the outside of her house painted. She wasn't very happy with the job the guys did. She saw her neighbours out once and they brought up the paint job and they knew my mom wasn't happy with it, her exact thoughts on the subject. My mom had never spoken to them and has no clue how they knew what she had said about it.

Some deep thoughts from Jack Handy
If you're a cowboy and you're dragging a guy behind your horse, I bet it would really make you mad if you looked back and the guy was reading a magazine.
If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures, to teach him to do some tricks. But only if you're serious about adopting the vulture.
As a young boy, when you get splashed by a mud puddle on the way to school, you wonder if you should go home and change, but be late for school, or go to school the way you are; dirty and soaking wet. Well, while he tried to decide, I drove by and splashed him again.
If you go to a costume party at your boss's house, wouldn't you think a good costume would be to dress up like the boss's wife? Trust me, it's not.
If they have moving sidewalks in the future, when you get on them, I think you should have to assume sort of a walking shape so as not to frighten the dogs.
I think the monkeys at the zoo should have to wear sunglasses so they can't hypnotize you.

Take solace in the fact that he must be in excellent physical shape to require multiple breaks while shoveling a townhouse driveway.

How do they get helium, it is lighter then air so it is not like you can just open a bottle and put it in.
If anybody knows how they can bottle helium please say.

They hold the bottle upside down and the helium just rises up into the bottle.

Well, I was bundled up in my winter jacket with my hood up so it wouldn't even matter.
I wear high-heeled boots when I shovel snow (don't ask), so that's the only way he could have known I was female from that distance (or, maybe the shape of my legs from my jeans??)

Useless without pics.
As an aside only in Canada would we be turned on at the thought of a woman out in the cold, bundled up, while wearing high heeled boots shoveling snow. I'd take that over SI swimsuit issue any day .

Whatever the case, it was uncalled for. You do not blatantly leer at people, it's disgusting.
I almost walked over to tell him off.

Spiced goes GREAT with cranberry pop.
And I hate cranberry-tasting things.
