thats suprising, and it looks like the minor league to the afl (afl2) will still play in 2009. wierd.

That's really unfortunate. I started watching AFL in 2004, then the next year really got into it during the lockout. It was a good sport to watch- easy football rules with a lot of scoring.

I hope they can work something out and save the season.
