Like others posted it amazed me how personal everyone took it. On Big Brother everyone is pissed when they're booted but come vote time most realize it is a game and vote for the person that played the game the best. Luckily Bob won because Suzie played the game horribly but got votes because peoples egos were hurt.

What amazed was how it looked like Sugar didn't even want to win during the tribal council. She just seemed happy to get that far and didn't really have any good answers.

I have to admit that I've changed my mind about Randy. He knew that he was playing the jerk, and totally ran with it on the reunion show. Jeff goes through his resume and then says "Engineer degree from blah blah" and Randy shoots back "Cheated"
Hilarious stuff from a guy that brings six random people to the show as his friends.

Probably one of the biggest scumbags to ever play the game. To pre-plan and attack someone for being emotional over their father's death was beyond disgusting.
Seems like morals have never been an issue for her. Say buh-bye to your pharmaceutical sales career.

One person that disappointed me after a good game was Kenny and the whole Bob promised me the idol cry, and that he couldn't accept the explanation that he was going to use it to blind-side Bob for not receiving it.

I have to admit, that Suger giving the finger to Corrine was the best moment in Survivor finals history. The speech by Sue in Season one now fades to a distant second.

The Corrine thing was pretty crazy and it almost reminds me of the Sean Avery situation. Call somebody out and rip them a new ass, but holy hell don't go attacking people who aren't in the game. That wasn't as much an attack on Sugar as it was on her whole family.
I understand that being around Sugar during an emotional time like that would be irritating, but I sure as hell wouldn't bring it up on television. Even when buddy (forget his name) was talking about how draining it was having her around camp came off like a real ###### in my opinion. Kind of a "poor me having to hang around a girl with a dead dad, my situation really sucks" kind of thing.
Interestingly about Sugar at the final tribal council she really did go in realizing that she was hooped. It was almost like her decision to take bob was more based on who she wanted to have the million.
I know Randy said he only voted for Bob because of the cookie, but I don't buy that for a second. I think he just wanted to make her feel like she was closer than she was.
Survivor is an interesting game. The amount of hurt feelings is overwhelming to me. Very few people seem to be able to see it from the perspective of their opponents. I think that may be the thing I find most fascinating about the game itself. Look at Kenny, he was brilliant at stabbing people in the back but when he finally got his he got all pissy.

Well it was an interesting season - personally I didn't expect Bob to go anywhere near as far as he did, he seemed to be too competent (with all his camping experience) and too old (considering the youth of most of the cast) to win.
Looking forward to next season, mainly because the setting should be spectacular altho I still think they are missing out by not putting them in the Okanagan or the Canadian Shield at some point.

IMO that vote was WAYYYY off... It should have been a split between Sugar and Bob. I think Sugar "played" everyone which makes her the better strategist. Bob just rode coat tails. Sugar was kind of like a female version of Dr. Will but a little nicer and with more tears.

Jeff Probst's blog
If Susie had won I don't know what I would have said or how I would have justified such a decision by the jury. Yes, Susie did a good job making it far enough to put her in a position to have a shot at the money. But to get three votes and nearly get a fourth vote from Randy really surprised me.
Highlight of the night: Corinne. Case settled. She is a bitch and she loves it and she might be nuts and if she's dating somebody…wow, that must be a crazy life. Some highs, some lows, and some "I gotta get out of here. She's gonna stab me in the face!" Corinne, you were great tonight, don't beat yourself up. You were funny and you secured your spot as Queen Bitch of Survivor.
Randy was also a bit of a let down on the reunion show. He has a very interesting story, which he shared with me before the show. But it was like pulling teeth getting him to share any of it tonight. It's okay, bro, I still love you, but you failed to live up to the standards you set while on the show. You went out with a bit of a whimper…
Survivor: Brazil is going to be very different from Gabon. A lot of likable people and a very differently played game. I think you are going to like it.
I can hardly wait.

I disagree with the bob riding coat tails thing. Technically he did, but I think it was because he was in such a position that he had to. When it got down to him, Randy and Corrine his back was against the wall and he didn't really have any power to shift the game. All he could do was protect his ass by winning numerous challenges (which he did).
Overall I thought they both played an awesome game, but the way sugar did things she gave herself zero chance of getting jury votes.

I was pulling for Sugar to win, but thought Bob was deserving of winning.
In Survivor you have to play a game where you are strong, but not too strong. Bob used his brain and determination to survive to the end. He definitely got lucky that Sugar didn't vote him out at the end, but was by far the most prepared survivor when he practiced fire making.
It was appropriate that at the end of the day, the winner was the guy who could actually Survive!
