Snow Shovelling Technique - are you a Pusher or a Tosser?

So here I am laid up with a sore back today. I blame the snow-shoveling! Apparently, the Canadian Chiropractic Society recommends that we push snow aside with a push style-shovel. Me, I've always been more a of a tosser.
 1. What kind of shoveler are you? and
 2. How in the heck do you clear 30 cm of snow without tossing it somewhere?

			I'm a pusher and a tosser...
I push it to the side and then toss it up...

When there's 6 inches or less,I like pushing briskly like a road grader when the snow is light and fluffy. 4 passes and my public walk is done. As for the snow, I just direct it to the street, then pack it down a couple of times with my truck so people aren't getting stuck.

How can chiropractic society expect you to be a pusher past the first snowfall of the year? Too much build-up makes it impossible to just push the snow somewhere.

I'm a procrastinator, which means that about 100 people walk by my house packing down the snow so I become a chipper and then shortly thereafter I become a swearer.

			thats what chinooks are for.
I destest shovelling. I let my pregnant wife shovel becauseI refused. I even had my mother in law shovelling around christmas once year because it drove her nuts

Although I do break down once or twice a year. Today was one of those days. eventually I will teach my kids about responsibility by delegating it.

I should point out too - I have no sidewalk, just my driveway and walk.

I don't have too. I live in a homeowners association community where we pay to have our snow shoveled. The guys were using a bobcat to clean everyones driveways.
