Nothing gives me goosebumps more than the Terminator music......AWESOME TRAILER!!! There's my must see on the first day movie of 2009.
Christian Bale is the perfect choice to play John Connor and will probably save this movie.

Is the movie supposed to be bad or something, why must it be saved?

Very impressive, can't wait.
I still go back and watch the LOTR trailers some times lol I love movie trailers, sometimes more than the actual movie.

I just don't think Terminator 3 did anything to help further the franchise. I'm personally a huge Terminator fan(T2 is the movie I have seen the most out of any movie.....upwards of 75 times), but I didn't see the reason for the third one when number two ended so perfectly. So after seeing the third, I felt that when the fourth did come out that it would need to be amazing to kinda save the franchise because the third one left a bad taste in people's mouths.
So I probably should have stated in my above post that Bale may save the franchise, not the movie.

Okay, THAT, I totally agree with.
As for being a huge Terminator fan, same with me. I still watch it if I ever see it on, and once every now and then I'll pop in Terminator 2 just for the heck of it, great film. I liked T3, it was okay, and it was on TV recently and it was better then I thought at first to be honest.
T2 was a great movie, really hard for anything to top or equal that one.

Yeah, I wasn't looking for T3 to top or equal number two, but i wanted a better explanation that "Judgement Day was inevitable"....to me it seemed really forced......Then people would ask "how would you have continued it???".....I would say, I wouldn't have, number 2 ended perfectly.
Having said all that, i didn't hate T3, I bought it and watch it from time to time, but the lame one liners for Arnie got really played out and I didn't buy Kristanna Loken as a killing machine, despite the fact she was smoking hot. But it did have its moments. I really liked the chase scene with the huge truck and the fire truck and every other moveable machine knows to man in the first quarter of the flick. Thought that was pretty cool.

Personally I think the trailor was very "Meh"
If the rumors about the ending are true, this movie will make T3 look like an Oscar winner!

I didn't mind the third movie even though it created this whole causality that skynet created itself from the future as a virus which was dumb. And it did show that judgement day had significantly changed from the original where the skynet computer was a mainframe in a hardened shelter in Cheyenne mountain to a piece of software that populated every computer on the planet.
However I think that every honest fan wanted to see the Terminator future post judgement day and see how John Conner rose to the leadership of the human race and defeated the machine. We all want to see the work/liquidation camps and how Conner got out. We all want to see Kyle Reese getting his mission and going back in time.
And we do know that the post judgement day future that we are going to see is far different and far bleaker then the original one from the first movie. As John opens the movie with the line. "This isn't the future that my mother told me about, this is much worse."

I had hopes for this, but from the looks of that trailer, the only good thing about this movie is going to be Christian Bale.

I'm excited about this one, not just because of Christian Bale either. I loved the first and second movies. I thought T3 was all right. I saw the trailer in the theater, looks good to me. I love hearing the music for this flick. It's quite recognizable now, like the Indiana Jones theme or the Rocky theme.

With no Arnie, it won't be quite the same. That said, i'm still looking forward to it, just to see the storyline continue.
One thing I noticed about T3 and it looks like T4 will be the same, is the music is a lot different from the first two. In the first two whenever there was a terminator, you would have that certain music start to play. I think the tv show has this music as well, but i can't quite remember. I think this may be because the first two were produced by James Cameron.
Anyways, my expectation level is about T3, but I hope it's a good one.
I really love the storyline though, hard to beleive when it comes out it will be 25 years since the first one.

I think the Terminator series has already declined from the first movie down. T2 already had some horrible gibberish ("Now I know why humans cry", just kill me now...), but at least the Terminators were pretty cool. T3 had already lost most of the feeling of the horrible unstoppable killing machines. In T4 Terminators are propably wiped out by the dozens and in T5 they'll fall apart if a baby shakes them hard.

Dear McG,
Thank You for the Charlies Angels movies. I enjoyed them as a young man as there was lots of T and A. Please keep that to a minimum in T4. Because your rich does not mean your allowed to do what Brett Ratner did to the X-men Franchise.
Sincerely,
Matt

Dear Matt;
Thanks for your feedback, your opinion means so much to a mega rich single named celeb like myself.
I have to say that Brett Ratner's intellect pales next to mine. I mean come on, I'm McG byatch.
Oh and in the future, all of the hot chicks will be giving me the whole T + A shot in private, and my movie characters will merely mention that there was T + A at some point in the movie that you the little people will have to envision in your minds eye, because my art demands that nudity only goes to those that deserve it, namely me.
Keep buying your movie tickets.
With utter distain
McG Byatch
