i dont want to crush your wet dream but I paid 1.53/gallon that is close to .40/L today. It only cost me 17 dollars to fill up my honda and I will get 320 miles out of a tank.

I'm still paying 1.99 for regular and more than that for the premium gas my car needs......which is only 50 cents per liter. Though it seems that compared to the rest of the Americans, Im still paying more. Boo..stupid California sometimes.

I'm just happy that i can go back to the gas station again when almost empty and get a whole full tank without the pump cutting me off at 100$ all the time.

$1.46 in Wichita. Geez, maybe I should drive the 2 hours to OKC and fill up!
I'm hearing a little talk now in the media that this plunge may not stop before we see sub $1/gal gas. That is mind boggling!

When I first moved to the U.S., gas was around 85 cents a gallon in Iowa.
Of course back then you could see a feature at the Nickelodeon for five cents and buy a pound of hard candy for a penny...

^ I think that oil costs about $1/barrel to produce in Venezuela though, so it kind of makes sense.

When I was there I was told it was because this gas company tried to overthrow gonzo, so he made it law that gas had to be really low,so they lost meney all the time...
Or something like that...

Well what he did was nationalize everything and basically cost all of the oil companies a lot of assets and money. When they get back there (he will have to cut a deal at some point to get more production and refining) they are going to exact a measure of revenge and certainty. (At least this is my opinion on things there).

Air Canada eliminated their fuel surcharge, making the trip to Calgary pretty darn cheap (only 300ish including tax from SFO if I book before Dec 22nd for travel until Dec 2009!).

Yeah. Funny thing, I saw an ad for some gas storage containers (pretty big ones) that said to stockpile gas now while it is cheap.
I'm not sure I would want that much explosive/flammable stuff lying around my place, plus gas does go bad over time.

Was in Crowfoot last night and gas at the Macs was below 70cents. 68.4 I think. That is definitely the lowest I've seen in years.

I can now fill my Saturn Outlook for around $50ish. When I first got the car back in March, it cost $80 to fill. LOL
