Great pick, Getbak...I used to love Sesame Street as a kid. My favourite skit used to be "There's a hole in the bucket" with Henry and Liza. Lot's of memories!
I have to get some NPH in here somehow, due to missing out on HIMYM...
In the MEDICAL category...
The main character is Dr. Douglas "Doogie" Howser (Harris), the son of David and Catherine Howser. At the age of five, he was diagnosed with early-stage pediatric leukemia after suspicious bruising was discovered by his father, who is also a medical doctor. After successful treatments, he began to express a genius level of intelligence. At age six, he got a perfect score on the SAT. He completed high school in nine weeks, graduated from Princeton University at age 10 and finished medical school four years later. At age 14, he was the youngest licensed doctor in the country. The series picks up on his 16th birthday; the cold open of the pilot episode shows him stopping his field test for his driver's license to help an injured person at the scene of a traffic accident.
In the series, Doogie works as a resident surgeon at a hospital in Los Angeles, and still lives at home with his parents. He also has a best friend, Vinnie Delpino (Max Casella), who is a more typical teenager and keeps him grounded in life outside his profession. He keeps a diary on his computer; episodes typically end with him making an entry in it. A trademark of the show was Vinnie climbing in through his window, to visit his friend. Doogie initially has a girlfriend, Wanda Plenn, but they break up in the course of the series.
(I know it was posted before, but it totally belongs here)

select from the Cartoon category the cult TV classic........
"The Flinstones"
As a child i loved watching this show. Even as an adult i find find myself flipping to the cartoon channel to watch another episode.
The Flintstones was the first, and the longest running, animated situation comedy shown in prime-time television. Premiering on ABC on 30 September 1960, it gained high ratings in its first season, thus establishing animation as a viable prime time format. Produced by Hanna-Barbera (Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera), The Flintstones was patterned after Jackie Gleason's The Honeymooners. Designed as a program for the entire family, the program did not appear as "children's television" until its rebroadcast by NBC in 1967. Its popularity with teenagers in its 8:30 P.M. Friday time slot, however, presaged the late 1960s move to animation as the preeminent format for children's programming.
Where's the remote? are happy to get the Reality (elimination) category out of the way. I'm not a reality TV fan and as such there are few such shows I can stand to watch. Thankfully this one was still available at this stage.
WTR select:
The Mole
The series is a reality competition in which the contestants work as a group to add money to a pot that only one of them will win. Among the contestants is one person who has been designated "the Mole" by the producers and is tasked with sabotaging the group's money-making efforts. At the end of each episode, the contestant who knows the least about who the mole is, as decided by the results of a quiz, is eliminated from the game.
The Netherlands version of the show is the longest running with 8 seasons currently filmed. The American version has so far had 5 seasons.

Just a heads up guys and gals. I'm typing this message from my local library's computer. My home computer crashed late last night and appears to have hardware problems and a corrupted registry. A friend of the family who builds and sells computers is coming by tomorrow to look at it and untlimately fix whatever problems there are. Thus i will be offline for an unknown amount of time until this fricken computer of mine is fixed.
Probably best i kick myself to the sidelines until my computer is back. Gawd i hate the computer withdrawals
With our 9th round pick, Vic Mackey and the Strike Team are happy to select, in the category of Reality (ongoing) the closest thing to The Deadliest Catch (the greatest reality TV show of alltime) that exists, Ice Road Truckers.
What these guys do is phenomenal IMO. Couple that with my infatuation with the Arctic and this show is a winner for me. The producers picked some great characters to spotlight on the ice roads, especially Alex Debogorski of Yellowknife and Hugh "The Polar Bear" Rowland of Kelowna. These two guys have been running the ice roads for better than two decades, have a friendly but competitive nature, and a great deal of knowledge about the job.
The show also does a great job of relaying the history of the communities involved like Yellowknife, Inuvik and Tuktoyuktuk. Additionally, it offers some unique insight into the exploration of natural resources in the Arctic.
Season 2 saw the group move to a new location for the first time ever and they used an ice road that follows the Mackenzie River to the Arctic Ocean and then on up the coastline. That's right, they drive on frozen sea ice!
Much like Deadliest Catch, I can't change the channel if I start watching the show. Too damn interesting!

It's been almost 17 hours, so I'm going to pick. In the Drama category, Team Legen...wait for it...dary! selects The Tudors.
The Tudors following the early years of King Henry VIII (played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers), starting with his first marriage and divorce to Queen Catherine of Aragon and his affair and second marriage to Anne Boylen. The third season starts sometime next year and will follow the story of Henry's next two wifes, Jane Seymore and Anne of Cleves.
I enjoy this show because I am obsessed with anything relating to Tudor English history. It has wonderful sets and costumes and Henry Cavill may be the best looking man ever. It is nowhere near historically accurate but when watching a soapy tv show, I don't think it matters. The acting is also pretty good, except for Meyers who can be too over the top. Sam Neil was great in season 1 as Cardinal Wolsey and Jeremy Northam is also excellent as Sir. Thomas More. And because it's on Showtime, it has lots of gratuitous sex and violence.
I am at work so this is all I can add for clips, I look for more later.

We'll take, in the cartoon category, the classic Ren and Stimpy!
I remember watching that on some Lucy about 15 years ago... it was the one where the rat dude is taking a bath and he eats the soap, and the red guy was eating his kitty litter...
Oh man. My mouth felt like the Sahara frickin Desert all night.
