I don't know a single person in that Facebook group. Not one out of 333 members. And here I thought I was only one of many that spent a lot of his time at this website. Yikes.
Also, judging by the Alumni on most members there, I'm far too old for this site.

To be honest, I didn't know anyone either. Wincolumn was the one that got me on to CP. Later, I met Neeper, CaptainCrunch, La Flames Fan and other guys, all through CP. Then a few of my buddies joined (like Teh_banwagoner).

lol ill help ya out ... ill be in calgary from dec 24th - jan 4th.... ill be at every flames game thats at the dome during that period.... and hopefully ill even meet up with some cp'ers for some shinny so i can give them a good laugh

if there is one ill show up ( as long as u dont make fun of me when my wife has to drop me off and pick me up hahaha )..... just a lil anecdote since beer was mentioned.. i hated beer for the first 25 yrs of my life.... i was always a vodka or patron silver guy then in one glorious outing to a casino in calgary ,during my wedding trip i discovered kokanee and kokanee gold and i fell in love  .... i cant find it here anywhere in oklahoma so as soon as i land in canada ill be looking to pick up a case....
i might toss in that i dont play either... i just own all the gear one needs to be a hockey a player but that doesnt necessarily mean i can play
