Default NFL Playoff Fantasy Advice

Alright guys,

Need some help with some decisions this week. I have 3 RB's and can only start 2.

Frank Gore vs. New York Jets
Maurice Jones-Drew vs. Chicago
Kevin Faulk vs. Seattle

Gore is pretty much a lock, but I keep flip flopping between MJD and Faulk. Any help?

Take Jones-Drew. He had an off game last week and should bounce back vs the Bears.

The Patriots will use primarily an aerial attack versus the Seahawks rather then the running game (as that is much easier on Seattle to do: pass rather then run).

Sammy Morris will get the ball near the goal line for the Patriots if they do run it.

I agree with Oilfan#81.

Besides, the Bears defense hasn't been stellar against the run recently anyway.

MJD is a threat everytime he touches the ball.

MJD for damn sure. Faulk is mostly a 3rd down change of pace back. The Chicago D is tough, but hasn't played well the last couple of games. Unfortunately, they are my only D in 2 leagues that I am in the playoffs in.

BTW, in one of my leagues, I am starting Hightower and Forte ahead of MJD, Portis and Barber. Injuries, matchups and yeah, gut feelings play into it.

You have all those RBs on one team? Wow.

Can only start 2 RBs though. My WRs have killed me and my QBs are Aaron Rodgers, Brett Farve with Pennington as backup. In that points league, I am 151 behind 1st and 102 behind second with 2 weeks to go. Guess I won't place.

On the brighter side, though I lost last week in the quarterfinals of another league, I am in the 3rd place game with if I win will make a little profit over my entry fee or if I lose, I get 50 bucks. I think it's a coinflip for the winnier.

On the much brighter side, in my dynasty league, I am back in the Championship game and am a 12 point favorite to win.
I've been bridesmaid 2 years in a row and this will be my final kick at the can before free-agency ravages my team. I have DeAngelo Williams, Jamal Lewis, Ryan Grant and Marion Barber and can start 3. Barber's uncertainty and the fact he is playing vs the Ravens to me put him behind Ryan Grant. Thoughts?

Agreed. You'd have to rank them as Williams, Grant, Barber and Lewis. The Ravens will kill Barber, Romo, Whitten et al.

I've got to hope Sammy Morris has another HUGE week, becuase doesn't look likely that Gore plays this week.

And I guess I'll be keeping Vincent Jackson as my #3 over Anthony Gonzalez, Mushin Mohammed and Chad Johnson.

Good moves, or dumb moves?

Warrick Dunn v. Barber?

I'm thinking Dunn.

Yup, only problem with Dunn is the splitting of carries with Cadillac.

But if those are your two options, you should go with Dunn.
