I'm very fond of Terrace, but I'm not sure I would want to live there.
The Skeena drainage is just gorgeous country. My wife grew up in Houston.

You know what's funny...I spent 17 years of my life growing up there and bashed it day in and day out and couldn't wait to leave. Now that I'm in Calgary, I miss it everyday. Its funny how things change.
Its probably not the best city to live in depending on what you do for work, but if I could get the same job there as I do here I'd move back in a heartbeat.
That drive on highway 16 between prince george and prince rupert is the nicest drive I've done in western Canada. Especially the last hour and a half from Terrace to Prince Rupert.

That's the only part I haven't done. I also love the drive from Terrace to Kitimat. One day I would like to drive the Cassiar Highway too.
I think many people have similar stories to yours. Heck, I've been in Kansas for 12 years now and rue the day I moved here. I want to go home so bad it hurts.
