They're not that bad on gas. I just sold my '97 Jimmy (which is exactly the same as theis truck except for the trim package) and I absolutely loved that truck. Maybe a bit hard on gas, but not as bad as some other vehicles in the age group.
Things to note about this vehicle are that it is the ultimate camping truck. It'll get you anywhere, and when you get there, it becomes your tent. The back seat folds flat and the bed it creates is fine for a 6'2" guy (and a chick)(and a rotti). Cozy.
Also, when the seats are up, there is a ridiculous amount of legroom in the back seat. I always got that compliment.
Also great about this truck is how solid it is on slick roads. The weight of the vehicle is just beautifully distributed. Definitely a good ride for a soccer mom that has no desire to slide around in the snow. Plus, with the push-button 4x4, you can pop it in 4x when you're stopped at a light, take off nicely, then pop it back into 2wd.
Super easy to park (nice and compact), yet roomy inside, plus really good visibility through the back windows for shoulder checking. There are so many other good things about this truck that I could go on forever. Just stuff that other SUVs didn't have figured out at that time.
I sold mine to a tradesman. It's still a truck. It'll haul all the tools you put in it. Better than a cargo van because it converts into a family vehicle if need be.
I don't know the vehicle in the OP, but I loved mine. I wouldn't have sold it except that I needed an open box truck.

Are they wide enough to fit 3 car seats in the back row?
Is there any rust?

Raekwon - Tires will likely need replacing in the next year
Draug - I think there is room for 3 car seats. The seats are leather which is nice if a kid spills you can wipe it up. There are built in achors in the back too. There is not any rust that I can think of.
Admittedly it likely needs a steamcleaning on the floors.
Hope that answers any questions.

Mine has served me well for 3 years. I just cannot afford to insure 4 vehicles. Thanks for your props 4 x 4. If I sell this on CP you deserve a commission

WE had a 99 Trailblazer (pretty much the same thing) and put Motomast Roughrider Mud and Snow tires on it.... Just a great little SUV, pretty much the most sure footed in adverse weather as I have ridden in.
We got $2000 more for ours with a little less KM on it.. so a good buy for sure.

I have had a few "tire kickers" pardon the pun.
No Christmas for my kids then I am kidding...
I would probably let this go for 3500 to a CP member... I will leave it at 4000 on the other sites like Kijiji.
