A good part of this economic crisis is being fueled by the media. Its not nearly as bleak as they are making it out to be. Sure it could get a heck of a lot worse but to react this foolishly after the public just confirmed that they want the conservatives to govern for the next while is simply selfish and has nothing to do with 'protecting canada'.

Emperor Crunch: Windsor_Pilates must not become a Conservative Supporter.
Darth Transplant: If he could be turned, he would be a powerful ally.
Emperor Crunch: Yes. Yes. He would be a great asset. Can it be done?
Darth Tranplant: He will join us or die, my master.

Old Ken Dryden sure doesnt like Harper, he was directing his attack straight at him. Right now the NDP's are complaining about the PC Rep. from Peterborough being too loud. Riveting stuff!

You know the more I listen to to this stuff...the more apparent to me is that this WHOLE thing is more about a Stephen Harper witch hunt than anything else.

Although it is funny that they Rep from Peterborough that is being blamed for being too loud got drowned out while he was trying to talk by jeers of the other parties, while you could hear those making the complaints just fine.

I find it funny that the collapse of the Soviet Union seems more civil than our House of Commons so far.

Minus the actual coup part of the whole collapse. You know the part with the tanks, blockades and soldiers?

Contrary to popular opinion. I don't hate him. I'm just not blind.
This entire mess is on him. Don't believe me? Read any of the prominent political columnists on this debacle. They unanimously deride Harper as the instigator of this entire mess and most say that he should step down. Were it not for Harper we would not be where we are. A fact lost on most people in this discussion.

I see...
So if I poke you with a stick and you hit me over the head with a shovel, it's all on me because I instigated it?
Sorry... life doesn't work that way.
