rumour has it that the concert will not be in the round as the Saddledome "is too small to accomodate the stage".

Wow, just wow.
Division Bell is the most underrated Pink Floyd record. You have an obvious hate on for David Gilmour for some reason.

I don't specifically hate Gilmour I just think he's got no talent when it comes to the lyrical aspect of music.
Waters is a great at ideas and lyrics, Gilmour at music and refining Waters muddy composition.
He had something like 80 people help write MLOR. 80!! In fact I would go so far as to say that Gilmour is only good with a muse like Waters. Waters original versions of the Wall were rather bland, but Gilmour cleaned it up a bit and made the PF "sound".
I think their respective solo PF albums are evidence of all this. The Final Cut, which is essentially a Waters solo album is good lyrically and conceptually but lacks that musical punch that Gilmour could add.
On the other hand MLOR and The Division Bell are ok musically but lack the lyrical and conceptual aspect that Waters brought. Gilmour should stick to adding music to Waters lyrics/enhancing Waters music.

Just got the new Tragically Hip - We are the Same. Have to give these guys major props, this album has caught me off guard. I wasnt expecting much...kind of expecting them to repeat themselves, but they took some major chances on this one. A really interesting, strange album. Its getting better with each listen. Gord Downie is still the best lyricist out there by far, it seems he only gets better with age.
Also got the new Doves album, Kingdom of Rust...haven't listened too much yet, but the first few tracks are awesome. They always were underrated.
