I have to wait till tomorrow to get this, have to drive into town. Anyone getting the "Limited Edition" http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/prodde...6INGFS10112798. I don't really see any benefit to the extra $10...

I got it. The metal case is pretty cool, but the art book sucks. First of all they give you 2. The nice one, with the hardcover is in FRENCH! and then they give you the proper english one, but only in paperback.

Oh well, since I got at futureshop I got a cool toy as well for free, which is probably worth at least $20, so I don't care.

Anybody else kind of disappointed with this iteration? Just didnt seem to capture the same creepy atmosphere as the first one, and I found the story line kind of predictable. Not to mention the lame end boss

I was pretty satisfied, pretty much had a smile on my face throughout the entire game. that said, it felt easier then the first, and the ending sorta sucked.

I haven't finished yet (just getting to the central tower in the Nexus), but I'm on Hardcore and I don't die very often. I remember dying a lot more in Gears 1.

Overall, I'm still quite happy with the game. But it sounds like the end might suck

Anyone play Horde?

I find it rather addicting.

Do you want to finish the game?

Press this button for 'Yes'.

Pretty much sums up the end "boss".

Yeah I beat it Saturday morning. That dude with the stick would have been more of a final boss.

Yah its pointlessly fun I guess. In the later levels I find running out of ammunition is the real challenge, rather than the actual fighting, especially once you build yourself a fort with boom shields!

Also, was there any real boss fights in this game? It felt like "boss" battles were just a series of cut scenes where you tap one button.
