Tight start early.
Vikings can't make dumb mistakes like jumping offside on 3rd and 10.
Got away with it this time.

I wonder what Hester's touch to TD ratio is? Best all time?

Soooo late hits are legal for the first quarter?
Ugh this offense, with ONE exception, is just putrid.

Yeah, that was a brutal non-call. Nice run by AP before that though...good grief!

I'm happy this game is televised, so people can see just how brutal the playcalling is for this team.
TWO fade's? One to a guy who's under 6 feet?

If someone told you that Peyton Hillis would be the most productive rookie RB from Arkansas in the NFL this year would you have laughed at them?
I would have.

How did you like that play call Pagal? Now THAT is a call to Frerotte's strength as opposed to the fades.
I agree though, Childress has been brutal all year.

WOW! What a goal line stand.
You would have thought the Bears would throw it at least once (maybe 2nd down).
EDIT: HOLY CRAP!
Is it too late to say Bears should have kicked a FG?

Lovie Smith's playcalling is much much worse tonight.

Those Vikes jerseys are so much better than their current ones. Like the Sonics, Islanders and Pistons did, I really think they need to step back in time in terms of their uniforms.

Curious comment by Peter King today:
Quote:
You miss a few more of those extra-point kind of field goals, Rian Lindell, and you'll be applying for jobs in Calgary. The 20-yard miss was the shortest miss by a Bill since 1981.

Is this implying that PK knows something about Sandro being NFL-bound? I can't see him just pulling Calgary out of the hat.
And an aside - I hadn't heard about Dr. Z before this. Get well, Z.

bad 2nd half for the Pats (watched the first half, missed the second). I can't help but think it all started on the last drive in the first half. Moss drops 3 straight passes in the end zone and Gotkowski uncharacteristically misses a short field goal (though the weather was awful). If they score a TD there, they go into the locker room with confidence. Instead, they blow it and then stink out the 2nd half.

What the heck is it with these people that make statements like this?
It sounds an awful lot like Terrell Owen's publicist saying "Terrell has 25 million reasons why he should be alive." http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2604395

I would think that the fact that Calgary just won the Grey Cup that they were the first team that popped into King's head.
Seems like a big stretch to make the leap of Sandro going to the NFL because of that simple comment.
Perhaps if it were in the off-season when Sandro had already worked out for teams but considering that he has a very small chance of making in the NFL and there will be better kickers coming out of college I can't imagine that Peter King really cares too much, if he knows at all, about Sandro.
