The Governor-General must call an election. If she wishes to have any credibility, she has to put a stop to this. No one can honestly believe this monster can function, let alone for the good of this country.

Layton and Duceppe did. If you haven't heard the audio, go find it yourself.

Except it can function, because the Bloc have agreed to unanimously support it until 2010.

Alberta and Saskatchewan should be kicking and screaming over this and putting motions into effect to protect this provinces and its Oil and Gas industry from the Cabal.
First statement when they take power, we don't accept your authority or recognize your government. Not dime one of our revenues will be flowing out of this province.

It's already been reported that Layton and the Separatists started planning this 2 days after the last election ended. The only got the Liberals on side a few days ago when the mini-budget was announced and the Liberals were scared of losing their campaign bucks.

Good idea, but we have the worst possible Premiere on the planet, when it comes to playing hardball with anyone.

So I guess you are admitting that the Grits did not get involved until Harper abdicated all duty as PM by not providing a fiscal stimulus. Tthat the Grits were not involved in this until a few days ago?

They can say whatever they want... it only takes 12 to dissent. Could easily be 12 Bloc members refusing to tow the party line.
She can still declare the Government has fallen and does not believe the coalition reflects the Canadian voter's wishes, call an election, and have them campaign on it.

After listening to Duceppe, it sounds like the Bloc have committed to supporting the coalition till June 2010. While they have set up a consultation process, they have provided the support without direct control.
It sounds to me like that the BQ do not have any power any at all in this coalition but has the right to withdrawal support in 2010.

This is just laughable now, really. Because what else can I do? I am helpless. No matter what I do, I am completely hamstrung here. Stephane Dion was resoundly defeated not two months ago. We all saw it. And now he is going to become our PM. Nice system we have here.

LOL, they haven't even been given a chance to release their budget yet. They have backed off on all plans that supposedly put this whole mess into action.

That's what I was saying earlier. As outrageous as this sounds, I would almost rather our Government being overthrown by tanks and guns than by papers and pens.
We can fight tanks and guns, but there isn't a damn thing we can do against a stack of paper and a pen.

Well he's either lying, or completely oblivious to news reports of this coalition surfacing weeks ago, before anything happened to bring this about. Both of those scenarios are sad for Canadians.

Agreed, but he was saying "Dion" was lying about not being involved 2 days after the election.
Just trying to find out where the lie is

I just want to smash something right now. They are outright lying to our faces and smiling the whole time. I feel physically ill right now.
