Yes, but usually I am not a wild man. So it'd be fine.

With our practicing this could give us a upper hand once the season starts, we should be able to find great chemistry on lines and really work on our team play

I don't think most of us are taking it this seriously. Let's just have fun.

I totally agree. That, and lets just get everyone together in the first place.
So no one is up for a run around today then?

I still am, though it doesnt seem like very many are.
Prolly best to plan for next weekend in a location where people afraid of a little snow have no excuses.

Just a bump,
Jerseys should be considered in the next 3 months, The 04 jerseys are 29.99 for a blank template + additional fees.
Team registration fee is 300 for suspensions and other penalty related fines, I'll need someone to cover this with their credit card but if we get the whole team together it works out to $15 per person.
I have the team bottles and balls lined up already.

How about we have a practice with more than 5 people first?
Do we even know what kind of league we want to enter? I think some people would rather play in a gym, than a full length hockey rink.

I'm fine either way, thought a full rink might lead a few of us to huffing and puffing by the end, heh. We ain't athletes, we're softball players.
Speaking of practice, any idea on when we should plan the next one?

I think maybe the first post in this thread should be re visited.
I thought the whole idea was to play in that ball hockey league.
Perhaps everyone should re state thier intentions. troutman you have now twice posted in response to Ottomatic that "most people" are not taking this seriously, and that "some people" don't want to play in a rink.
In light of this maybe we all need to step up and state preferences.

I know from softball that this takes a lot of organization. There has been lots of talk here, but little action. The people that did come out are closer to 40 than 20.
My preference would be a gym league, and I'm not very interested in uniforms, line combinations or systems.

I would still be up for a gym league, I think the jerseys would look nice but the added costs could really but a kink in the plans. Plus Superleagues just raised the price to 225 per player
